Game #1 – Roos vs. New Age

Roos get on the board first with a RBI double from Jeremy Villano and RBI single from Anthony Crawford. Jess Behr also had an RBI single as well to give them a 3-0 lead. Roos get two more runs in the second, again off the bat of Villano and Crawford. New Age struggle to get anything going early as Roos keep pouring the runs in. Tom Montvydas had an RBI single and Jake Blum had a two run triple this time. Montvdas give Roos two more runs in the fifth, this time a two run single as Roos really start to open this one open. Two more runs late in the seventh put this game away as Roos come away with an easy win in this one. Roos win 14-3.

Game #2 – Bry Lex vs. Sons of Pitches

Nick Dipaolo gets Bry Lex on the board first with an opening sac fly and that is followed up by a laser single from Cody Miller to give them a 2-0 lead. A couple batters later, Cindy Synder hits an RBI single of her own to make it 3-0. Pitches get two runs back in the bottom of the order from a Jon Motts sac fly and RBI double from Carl Motts. Pitches take the lead in the third pushing six runs across. Jon Motts cleared the bases with a three run single, followed by a RBI triple from CJ Motts. Tyler Motts also had an RBI single as well. Bry Lex puts together a big inning of their own in the fourth. Dipaolo had a two run single and Andy Markowicz, Eric Rosenblum and Sue Kerr had RBI’s as well in the inning. Bry Lex trails by two after four innings. Bry Lex takes the lead in the sixth from a RBI triple from Ryan Hines as well as a DiPaolo RBI single. This was shorted lived as Pitches grab four runs in the sixth and take the lead for good. CJ Motts had the big hit with a two run double. Bry Lex come up short late and fall in this one. Pitches win 15-11.

Game #3 – Andy’s vs. Sons of Pitches

Both teams stand at 3 runs apiece after the first couple of innings. Adam Lightkep had an RBI single for Andy’s and Justin Ruth had a two run double for Sons of Pitches. Andy’s have a big third inning and put up five runs. Warren Grant and Brittany Ullman had RBI singles and Ian Cuzzo had a two run triple as well. Pitches come back in the third to bring the game to within one. After a Carl Motts RBI single, CJ Motts smashes a three run bomb in the quarry woods. Pitches tie the game in the fourth from a Jon Duchette RBI single. That was short lived as Andy’s take the lead in the fifth. Chris Hesdon had a two run triple to pace the inning. Andy’s double that effort in the sixth as they push across another four runs. Lightkep was back at it again, grabbing two run single. Chase Luxton and Mike Koz also had RBI hits as well in the inning. Andy’s tack on one more run to give them a cushion going into the bottom of the seventh. Pitches go down swinging as they grab four runs, but fall short. Andy’s win 17-14.

Game #4 – Demons vs. Wackers

Demons start the game off with a bang getting a three run bomb from Evan Porter. Jenn Sevitski added an RBI single as well in the inning. Demons add on another six runs in the third getting a RBI triple from Bill Shallcross, RBI single from Rob Lyons and Greg Thompson and an RBI double from Evan Porter. Wackers get four of them back in the bottom of the inning with help from Eden Harvest, Erik Szostak and Mike Kelly, who all had RBI singles. Demons continue to tack on runs every inning and again have a four run inning in the sixth. Shallcorss had a two run triple in the inning and Lyons added another on a sac fly. Wackers add a late run off a Mike Tercha RBI single, but it wouldn’t be enough today. Demons win 18-6.
