Game #1 – Andy’s vs. Carroll’s

Carroll’s and Andy both come out swinging and both get a run in the first. Andy’s get two more runs in the second from an RBI double from Chris Hesdon and RBI single from Kris Smedley. Andy’s get three more runs in the third from RBI singles from Warren Grant and Danielle Buzin and another from a RBI hit from Jason Pane. Andy’s lead by four after 3 innings of play. Carroll’s cut the game to within two runs after a Bryan Bart two run triple. Andy’s try and pull away late with a three run fifth inning getting a couple RBI singles from Brittany Ullman and Chris Hesdon. Carroll’s make a late push getting three runs in the seventh from a Bob McClintock RBI single, and Kelly Gallagher and John Zeits sac fly, but would end up not being enough. Andy’s win 10-7.
Player of the Game:
Chris Hesdon (Andy’s) – 3/3, 2B, 2 RBI’s


Game #2 – Roos vs. LA Pools

Roos start the next game off with by batting around and getting six runs. Jake Blum and Jess Behr had RBI singles and John Margran had a sac fly to help Roos jump out early. Jake Blum was back at it again in the second, this time going deep with a solo home run. Alex Elmore also had an RBI from a sac fly in the inning. This game is all Roos as they push across another six runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Villano had an RBI double and Elmore added another RBI single. Roos close this game out late with three more runs. Pools struggle in this one as they can’t push any runs across. Roos win 15-0.

Jake Blum (Roos) – 4/5, 2B, HR, 3 RBI’s



Game #3 – Sons of Pitches vs. Dug Out Demons

The last game of the night gets started with a Nick Mancini RBI single. Cody Runner then steps to the plate and smashes an RBI double followed by a Ron Bannister sac fly. Demons go back to work in the second with a RBI single and two run single from Shallcross. Phil Black also added an RBI single in the inning. Pitches finally respond in the fourth getting three runs back. Carl Motts had a two run double and RBI double from Jon Motts. Demons get them back in the next half inning from a Rob Lyons RBI single. Demons push another two runs across in the fifth to make it an 11-3 game. That is where it ends as neither team can get any more runs across. Demons win 11-3.
