Game #1 – Roos vs. Blue Dog Tavern

Roos get rolling early with a three run bomb from Jeremy Villano. A couple of batters later, Steph Farrar smashes a homer of her own, this one a solo shot. John Rodriguez gets one run back on a RBI single. Neither team scores for a couple of innings and we stand at 4-1 game after three innings. Roos get rolling again in the fourth pushing four more runs across. Jake Blum had an RBI double and Villano had an RBI single. Roos break this game open in the fifth. Blum was at it again with a two run double along with a Tom Montvydas RBI single. A couple of batters later, Anthony Crawford smashes a two run bomb to push their lead to 12 runs. Blue Dog grab some runs later off a Jason Robinson two run single and Dave Gers RBI double, but would fall in this one. Roos win 15-5.

Game #2 – Andy’s vs. Blue Dog Tavern

Andy’s get on the board early with a Ron Pulli RBI single to come out of the gates swinging. Blue Dog starts off slow and can’t grab any runs early. Andy’s get four runs in the second to start to take a commanding lead in this one. Chase Luxton hit an RBI double to set up a Mike Koz two run bomb. Ian Cuzzo adds a sac fly in the fourth to make it a 6-1 lead. Andy’s would put this game away in the fifth batting around and sending 17 batters to the plate. Everyone got into the action in the inning, but it was highlighted by two run singles by Warren Grant and Chase Luxton. Adam Lightkep also added an RBI double in the inning as Andy’s run away with it. Andy’s win 18-2.
