Game #1 – New Age vs. Carroll’s

Jim Kennedy gets New Age rolling with a solo bomb to put them on the board 1-0. Carrolls come right back in the bottom of the inning and get two runs of their own on a Greg Lesher RBI double and Bryan Bart RBI single. Kennedy was back at it again with a sac fly pushing New Age lead up to 3-2. Carroll’s come back again in the third pushing four runs across. John Zeits and Kevin Shinkunas had RBIs singles and Greg Lesher had a two run bomb in the inning. Carroll’s go back to work in the fourth and get three more runs. Bill Shipe had a solo homer and Krysten Marinelli had a two run single. Lesher was back at it with a bomb in the fifth, another two run bomb to push their lead to 12-5. New Age grabs three runs in the seventh from a Kennedy two run single, but that would not be enough in this one. Carroll’s win 12-8.
