Game #1 – Complete Liquidators vs. Knuckleheads

Liquidators come out looking hungry for a win and get two runs on back to back RBI singles from Ant Cateldo and Jenna Bundy. Knuckleads respond and double that getting four runs in total, three off the bat of Jaden Newman. Knuckleheads get right back to it again in the second after a Ryan Goodman RBI single and three run bomb deep into the woods from Brandon Birkhead. Shawn Pflegar smacks a triple to help pace another run for Liquidators, but that is short lived as Knuckleheads knock in another six runs. Steph Farrar delivered the big shot with a two run triple and Jose Rodriguez and John Kiefer knocked in a run on RBI singles. Liquidators get a couple more runs late, but it wouldn’t be enough as they will fall in this one. Knuckleheads win 20-5.

Game #2 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Rock-N-Rebel

Crew get rolling right out of the gate getting four runs on a three run bomb from CJ Motts and sac fly from Jon Motts. Rebel match them in the bottom of the inning getting four runs of their own. Ed Reynolds, Ray Barry and Sam Nagle all had RBI singles in the inning. Crew go right back to work, as they do better than they did in the first with eight runs. Jon Motts and CJ Motts were back at it again with an two run double and RBI single respectfully. Carl Motts, Kevin Motts and Jon Duchette also add RBI’s in the inning as they lead by eight. Crew keep the hitting going for the second week in the row. J. Motts get two more runs in the third as Crew pour it on, with the whole team getting involved. Crew run away late and win this one big. Crew win 25-5.

Game #3 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Roos


Jarret Kerns gets the third game of the day started with a bang with a three run bomb. That is quickly answer by his own teammate as Axel Alecia smacks a three run homer of his own later in the inning. Ty Allen and Krysta Wellington add RBI in the inning as well as Sluggers score nine runs right out of the gate. Roos answer with two runs thanks to back to back solo bombs from Tom Montvydas and Jeremy Villano. Katie O’Toole nets another run for Sluggers with a RBI triple in the second as they lead 10-2 after two innings. Villano does his best to keep Roos in this one smashing another homer, this time a two run bomb, but this is quickly getting away from them. We fast forward to the seventh where Sluggers bat around again and really put this one away. Axel goes deep again, his second of the game and Tom Koezler smashes a grand slam, his second of the game. Sluggers crush Roos and win this one. Sluggers win 21-7.

Game #4 – Dug Out Demons vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Demons come out in this late one flying, first grabbing a three run lead on a three run bomb. Jake Haber, Greta Sheridan and Ben Razzi all have RBI singles. The homers continue to be a factor tonight as Koezler smashes another one, this time a three run and giving Sluggers the lead. Jarret Kerns also had an RBI double and Axel knocked in two on a two run double as Sluggers tie this one up after an inning. Demons get back to it with a PK RBI double and Haber RBI single, but this is quickly responded to by Sluggers. Sluggers get six runs in total in the bottom of the inning, half of them coming off a three run bomb. We fast forward to the fifth, where Demons grabs three runs trying to get back into this game as they trail 16-12. Koelzer goes deep again in the seventh for some insurance runs as they will hold onto this one. Sluggers win 17-12.
