Game #1 – The Maize vs. Wehrung’s

Maize gets rolling in the first inning with an RBI single from Michelle Eggito. Wehrungs respond in the bottom of the inning with a big inning. Wyatt Schilling starts it with a two run single followed by a two run double from Lowell Snyder. Davey Nagel also adds an RBI triple in the inning. Wehrungs keep it going in the second with RBI triples from Adam Hendricks and Schilling. More of the same in the third as Wehrungs net six more runs. A. Hendricks nets two more runs on a single as he continues to have a great game. This game ends early with a Luke Hendricks grand slam as Wehrungs runs away with this game easy. Wehrungs win 20-1.

Game #2 – Wackers vs. The Maize

Wackers come out looking for a big win after pulling off two wins in the prior week and do so in a big way. Wackers bat around three times in the first inning and score a whopping 21 runs. Alex Freeman started the scoring with an RBI double followed by RBI doubles from Nick P and Dan Vescovi. Kyle Simonye also added two runs on a big triple across the inning. Maize come out slow and can’t push any runs across. Wackers keep things going in the second with the whole team getting involved. RBI singles pace the inning as they will run away with this game easy. Wackers win 27-1.

Player of the Game:

Game #3 – Knuckleheads vs. Roos

This game gets started with back to back RBI singles from Bobby Hartzell and Brandon Birkhead, followed by a Jose Rodriguez RBI double. Jaden Newman also adds a two run single in the inning. In the end, Knuckleheads end up with seven runs in the inning. Roos come back in the bottom of the inning with four straight RBI singles from Frank Fusca, Jake Blum, Andrew G and Selina A. Roos tie this up in the second with a three run bomb from Jeremy Villano. Knuckleheads then jump back on it in the third. Brandon Birkhead smashes his own three run bomb and Rodriguez also adds a solo homer of his own. Knuckleheads continue up with their hitting in the fourth and fifth with five more runs. Newman adds two more runs on a single in the effort. Birkhead was at it again in the sixth inning, with a three run bomb, his second one of the game. Knuckleheads keep the heat on late and win this one. Knuckleheads win 23-9.
