Hatfield – Game 1

Roos vs New Age

Game of the Week. The Roos started the game scoring 1 run on 4 singles, New Age scored 3 runs on 5 singles, 3-1 New Age. In the 3rd the Roos scored 2 runs on a walk, single and triple by Dan Wehlau, New Age also scored 2 runs on a walk, singles and fielder’s choice, 5-3 New Age. In the 4th New Age scored 1 run on a Mark Maund double and 3 singles, 6-3 New Age. In the 5th both teams scored a pair of runs, the Roos scored 2 on 4 singles, New Age scored 2 on a Alex Peterson triple, single and 3 walks, 8-5 New Age. In the 6th the Roos railed scoring 5 runs, scoring 3 runs on a Jake Blum 3 run Homer and scoring 2 runs on a Dan Cymerman double and Dan Wehlau 2 run Homer and take the lead in the game 10-8 Roos. In the bottom of the 7th the New Age team ralied scoring 4 runs on a Jim Kennedy walk off Grand Slam Homer and come back and win the game, New Age 12-10 over the Roos.

Hatfield – Game 2

New Age vs Maize

New Age came out with smoke-in hot bats scoring 5 runs in the 1st on 7 hits, the big hits Jim Kennedy double, and triples by Alex Peterson and Mike Friedman, 5-0 New Age. In the 2nd the Maize scored 2 runs, one on a Gary Kleinschmidt Homer and one a couple of singles and fielder’s choice, New Age scored 4 runs on 5 hits including doubles by Alex Peterson and Jim Kennedy, 9-2 New Age. In the 3rd New Age scored 1 on a single and triple by Mark Maund, 10-2 New Age. In the 5th had another big inning scoring 7 runs on 10 hits, the bg hits Homer by Jim Kennedy and double by Mike Friedman, and New Age went on to win this one 17-2.

Hatfield – Game 3

Maize vs Sons of Pitches

The Sons of Pitches took the lead scoring 3 runs in the 1st the big hits a Jon motts 2 run Homer and Dan Hingcliff double, 3-0 Sons of Pitches. In the 2nd the Sons of Pitches scored 2 runs on a base clearing triple by Dan Greiger, 5-0 Sons of Pitches. In the 3rd inning the Sons of Pitches batted around and scored 13 runs on 13 hits, the big hits were doubles by CJ Motts and Jon Motts, triples by Jon Motts and Pete Edgar, and a 2 run Homer by CJ Motts and the Sons of Pitches go on to win this one 18-0.
