Hatfield – Game 1

Blue Dog Tavern vs New Age

Blue Dog started the game scoring 1 run on 3 hits, New Age scored 2 runs on 3 hits including a double by Alex Peterson, 2-1 New Age. After no scoring in the 2nd both teams got on the board in the 3rd, Blue Dog scored 2 runs on 4 hits, the big hit a double by Jason Robinson that plated both runs, New Age scored 4 runs, the big hits a double by Alex Peterson, and 2 run Homer by Jim Kennedy, 6-3 New Age. In the 4th New Age scored 1 run on a couple of hits to make it 7-3 and New Age goes on to win the game 7-3.

Hatfield – Game 2

Roos vs Blue Dog Tavern

Blue Dog took the early lead scoring 3 runs in the 1st on a 3 run Homer by John Rodriguez, 3-0 Blue Dog. In the 2nd the Roos got on the board with a big inning, batting around and scoring 6 runs, the big hits a 2 run Homer by Doug Farrar, double by Eileen Fillion, Roos take the lead 6-3. Neither team scored in the 3rd. In the 4th the Roos scored 4 runs, on 5 hits and a sac fly, the big hit a double by Jake Blum that scored 2 runs, Blue Dog scored 2 runs on 4 hits, 10-5 Roos. Both teams scored 1 run in the 5th to make it 11-6 Roos. The Roos scored the last run of the game in the 6th on a Homer by Tom Montvydas, and the Roos win the game 12-6.

Hatfield – Game 3

The Maize vs Roos

The Maize scored 1 run in the 1st on a couple of hits and a fielder’s choice, the Roos batted around and scored 5 runs, the big hits were a triple by Tom Montvydas, doubles by Dan Wehlau, Gary Ehly, 5-1 Roos. The Maize scored 1 run in the 2nd and the Roos scored 2 runs, the big hit a triple by Jake Blum, 1-2 Roos. In the 3rd both teams had Big innings, the Maize scored 5 runs, the big hits doubles by Gary Kleinschmidt, Joe De Sousa, the Roos sent 20 batters to the plate and scored 16 runs, Jake Blum doubled and Homered, Tom Montvydas doubled and tripled, Dan Wehlau, Dave Cunningham, and Ed Landua also doubled, 23-7 Roos. The Roos went on to win this one 28-7.
