Game #1 – Bry Lex vs. Sons of Pitches

Pitches get the scoring start in the game with four runs in the bottom of the first. Kaelyn and Carol Motts get back to back RBI singles followed by a two run single from Danny Hinchcliff a couple of batters later. Bry Lex fight back in the second getting five runs of their own. Jenna Bundy started it with a RBI walk followed by a two run single from Eric Rosenblum. Ryan Hines added a two run double a couple of batters later. Pitches tie the game up in the third after a leadoff triple from Hinchcliff. After Bry Lex goes down without any runs in the top of the fourth, Pitches score three to take the lead in the bottom of the inning. Jon Motts had a sac fly and Jill Beck smacked a RBI single in the inning. Bry Lex fights back again to score four runs in the fifth and take a one run lead. Colin Donohoe started the scoring with an RBI single followed by a Cody Miller two run double. A couple batters later, Lowell Snyder knocked in one with a triple. Bry Lex would shut down Pitches defensively for the rest of the game and Bry Lex would hold on late. Bry Lex wins 11-8.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Dugout Demons

Mike Zahradnick comes out early with a two run double for Carrolls to start them off. Demons response immediately with five runs of their own. Nick Mancini had an RBI single followed by a Joe Tillman two run single and Katie O’Toole RBI double. They match that five in the second with RBI singles from Jon Poore and John Erb as well as a Jarred Gardner two run single. Demons continue to roll through this game as in the fourth they add six more runs to take their lead to 17-2. Mancini had a two run single and Alex Elmore had a two run triple. Demons are all over this game and cruise to a big win. Demons win 19-4.

Game#3 – Andy’s vs. Carroll’s

Andy’s come out strong early in this one opening up a 7-1 lead after two innings. Chase Luxton started it with a solo home run followed by RBI singles from Warren Grant, Paul Grant and Ron Pulli. Four more runs pour in in the third for Andy’s pushing their lead to 10. Ron Pulli had another two run single and a couple batters later he scores on an Adam Lightkep sac fly. Carroll’s continue to struggle to score any runs even though they continue to get runners on in the middle innings. Pulli adds another two run single in the fourth for Andy’s as they continue to control the game. Carroll’s have their best inning in the sixth with a four run inning thanks to a RBI walk from Joyslyn Tomlinson, a RBI single from Bryan Bart and a sac fly from Bill Shipe. Andy’s would put this game away late getting seven more runs in the last couple innings. Brittany Ullman and Chase Luxton provided the spark each smashing two run home runs. Andy’s win 21-6.

Game #4 –Sharks vs. Andy’s

Sharks open a 3-1 lead after one with an RBI single from Tom McCarthy and two run single from Joe Sharp. Chase Luxton had the run for Andy’s with a solo blast, his third of the night. Andy’s tie it in the bottom of the second with a RBI single from Chris Hesdon. RBI singles give Sharks the lead in the third getting them from McCarthy, Jeff Pierce and Sharp. RJ Grant matches with an RBI single of his own in the bottom of the inning. Neither team scores until the bottom of the fifth when Andy’s explode for six runs. RJ Grant started the scoring with a RBI double, followed by a two run double from Warren Grant, a Jay Pane RBI double and two run homer run from Paul Grant. Sharks are only able to manage one more run and don’t have enough in the tank in this one to come back. Andy’s win this one late 11-7.
