Hatfield – Game 1

Maize vs Blue Dog Tavern

Blue Dog started the game scoring 1 run in the 1st inning on 3 hits, then scoring 1 run in the 3rd on a Homer by Bill Roth to take a 2-0 lead after 3. The Maize got on the board in the 4th on 3 hits including a 3 run Homer by Gary Kleinschmidt, and the Maize take the lead 3-2. Blue Dog scored 1 run in the 6th on a single and Ed Reynolds triple to tie the game at 3-3. In the 7th both teams score 1 run to make it 4-4 and send the game into extra innings. In the 8th the Maize score 1 run on a couple of hits and Blue Dog scored 2 on a Jason Robinson 2 run HOMER to win the game 6-5.

Hatfield – Game 2

New Age vs Roos

New Age came out scoring early and often, scoring 2 runs in the 1st on 3 hits including a double by Mark Maund, then batting around and scoring 6 runs in the 3rd inning on 6 hits including a 3 run Homer by Jim Kennedy, 8-0 New Age. In the 4th New Age scored 1 run on a Homer by Coty Thomas, and the Roos got on the board scoring 4 runs on 5 hits including a triple by Tom Montvydas, double by Gary Ehly, 9-4 New Age. New Age scored 2 in the 6th, the big hits a double by Alex Peterson, triple by Mike Friedman to take an 11-4 lead and went on to win the game 11-5.

Hatfield – Game 3

Wackers vs LA Pools

The Wackers scored 1 run in the top of the 1st on 3 hits for their only lead of the game, LA Pools scored 13 runs in the 1st on 13 hits, the big hits a double by Mike Cianfichi scoring 3 runs, and a 3 run Homer by Mike Cianfichi, 13-1 LA Pools. In the 2nd inning the Wackers again scored 1 run on 3 hits and LA Pools had another big inning, batting around and scoring 7 runs, the big hits were doubles by Samantha Grismore, Greg Reilly and 3 run Homer by Ray Pantano, 20-2 LA Pools. There was no scoring in the 3rd. In the 4th the Wackers had their best inning scoring 4 runs on 5 hits, the big hit a base clearing 3 rbi triple by Jeff Mullaly, 20-6 La Pools. La Pools went on to win this one 21-6.
