Game One: Vertex v. Team Horsham

Vertex got themselves one hell of a game from Shane Hanna and Mike Bitterlich. Shane had a 4-4 nights with two walks, 2 home runs, 5 runs scored and 5 ribbies. Mike had a 4-5 night with a walk, 2 home runs, 4 runs scored and 6 ribbies. All in route to a 28-run team effort.
Horsham did not have an answer for this as Mike and Shanne themselves kept up with the Horsham offense, each scoring 10. Brett Severio had two hits and scored twice and Jarrett Pendergrast blasted a solo shot in the 5th. Vertex won easily.

Game Two: Mike’s Bar & Grill v. Dingers

Mike’s offense struggled once again. Three runs scored in the first by Matt McReynolds, Eric Wesolowski and Dave Shannon got things going but they managed just 3 more the rest of the way. Andy Markowitz had a 2-run single in the 4th. Mike’s finished with 6.
Dingers on the other hand had a nice night. Mike Casbar and Brandon Birkhead went back-to-back long balls in the 3rd while both finished with 4 runs scored. Once again a two-punch that outpaces the entire opponents offense. Dingers finished with 22 for the game and win easily.

Game Three: Cale’s Pale Ales v. Da Bears

Brennan Rudkick was the offense star player for Cales. A 2-3 night which included a walk and a sac fly, 2 runs scored and 5 rbi. A 3-run home run in the 1st. Cale Mosler scored 4 times on 3 hits.
Da Bears kept pace throughout the game with Curran Cornelly going 3-3 with a walk, 2 singles and a triple while scoring twice and driving in 5. Robert Knox and Jason Alderman also drove in 2 and Da Bears edged Cale’s squad, 16-13.

Game Four: Cale’s Pale Ales v. Beers

Cales in an attempt to sweep the night’s twin bill, starting out on fire. Dave K drove in 2 with his double as they explode for a 7 run first. Dave later tripled and scored in the 2nd and Joe F scored the teams final run in the 4th, their 10th run.
Beers wanted none of that as they exploded offensively. Ryan Calebro had a 5-5 night which was a HR short of the cycle while scoring 4 times and driving in 5. Ryan Maley went 4-4 with a sac fly, 3 runs scored, and 6 rbi. Rich Acierno and Matt Kane both smashed 2-run homers as Beers plate 25 men. Easy victors 25-10.
