With three weeks in the books, we shift focus to this week’s slew of games.

Game One: Dingers v. Beers
Dingers began with a run in the 1st inning after Eric P singled and scored off of Dave Demko’s single. Zach Zabarsky tripled and scored in the 2nd and Mike C doubled and also scored. Connor O’Keefee doubled and scored in the third bringing their run total to 5. Unfortunately, they managed only 6 hits the rest of the way.

Beers didn’t exactly go off offensively but did just enough. Consecutive extra base hits by Ryan Maley, Rich Acierno and Scott Runzer led to 3 fourth inning runs. In the 6th inning, Rich drove in a run with a sac fly and Scott Runzer hit his 2nd triple of the game driving in his 2nd run. Beers went on to score 7 runs and take the game 7-5.

Game Two: Team Horsham v. Ballz Deep
Ballz Deep failed to get production from the top of the line-up. Bottom half of the line up helped some by driving in 8 runs on 7 hits. Gene Walczak kept the team relevant with his 3-3 performance which included a 2nd inning, 3-run homer. He went on to double in the 5th and single in the 7th – scoring on all 3 AB’s.

Close game throughout, scoring 6 runs in the 6th and 7th innings led to the game being opened up for Horsham. Zach Prendergast went 3-4 with a solo home run in the 2nd, a 3-run home run in the 4th and a 2-run double in the 7th. Zach finished with 6 rbi. Horsham took the game 13-8.

Game Three: Vertex v. Da Bears
Vertex basically had themselves two good innings. A 6-run outburst in the 5th inning and a 2nd outburst in the 6th, scoring 6 more. Matt Schaub went 2-4 with a 3-run homer and double in those two innings. Jose Rodriguez blasted a 3-run shot of his own Sean Nanemacher finished the night with a 4-5 performance scoring 3 times.

Da Bears got nice production from Sean Valenzia with a 2-run triple and a grand slam in the 4th. Kyle Irwin singled home two more runs in the 4th capping an 8 run innings and Kyle Lockard tripled home a run in the 6th helping Bears plate 16 and take the game by 2.
