Game One: Wier 2 Wire v. HG Coal Fire Pizza

For HG, they would score just 5 runs in the game after getting rbi singles in the 2nd inning from Matt Messine and Mark Kennedy. Michael doubled home a run in the 4th & Andrew Parker drove in Brock Veit who singled in the 5th.
W2W got a 2-run homer from Jacob McDevitt in the first inning and a 2-run shot from Gene Walkzak in the 4th. But in the 5th inning, W2W exploded for 13 runs. Phil Lipton had 2 AB’s in the 5th and homered in each at bat. Tom Signore also homered. W2W beat down HG 18-5.


Game Two: Dookie Brewster v. King’s Corner

King’s Corner playing short on men but got to work offensively none the less. Bill Brrancato homered in the 3rd inning and John Erb smashed a 2-run shot. Bill singled home a run in the 4th and doubled home another in the 7th to finish with 3 rbi. TheKings finished with 12.
Dookie Brewster also playing short handed but fared better offensively. Brandon Birkhead, a sub, finished with 3 hits and 6 rbi. He tripled in the 6th and hit a grand slam in the 7th. Joe Horchuck finished with a pair of doubles with an rbi and a run scored. Dookie scored 18 and won by 6.


Game Three: Beers v. Mike’s Bar & Grill

Eight consecutive walks led to 13 runs in the first inning. Matt McReynolds and Dave Shannon had back-to-back doubles. John Bondo doubled home 2 in the 3rd and Zach Lyall singled home another in the 5th.
Beers got a 2-run single from Ryan Calabroo in the 1st inning, an rbi double from Ryan Henritzy in the 3rd, a 2-run homer from Connor MacFarlane in the 4th and a 2-run homer from Josh Goldberg in the 5th. Connor drove in 2 more with his double to highlight the 9-run 5th. Beers went on to score 22 and win by 3.


Game Four: Philly Junk v. Dingers

Dingers did not score their first run until the 3rd after Zach Zarbarsky doubled to lead off the inning and later scored. Connor O’Keefe tripled home two runs in the 4th while Chris Mannion singled home 2 in the 6th. Brandon Walker and Mike Castner each singled and each drove in runs in the 7th. Dingers offense managed to drive in 12.
But Philly Junk got production all over the line up. Consecutive doubles by Justin Miller, Brandon Birkhead and Mike Bitterlich led to 3 runs in the 1st, Brandon homered in the 2nd, Brandon Bozek tripled home 2 in the 3rd, Birkhead with his 4th rbi of the game in the 5th, Ryan Habel with his 2nd double in the 6th and Shane Hanne tripled and scored in the 7th off of Justin’s 2nd double of the night. Philly went on to double up Dingers, 24-12.
