A 3-run homer by Mike Bitterlich led the way to a 4 run 3rd. That was followed up by a 4-run 4th which included a fury of singles. The bottom of the 5th is the last time Philly Junk would trail as they hammer home 8 runs which included another Bitterlich 3-run tater. Game 3: TGIF vs IDC
TGIF had to shake off the loss and come right back to try and salvage the night against IDC. The first 4 innings looked much like the last 4 of the previous game. TGIF would sprinkle across 4 runs across the first four frames while IDC drove in 15. Justin Miller drove in 4-runs in those innings via a 2-run triple and a 2-run dinger. Curt Hensman and Jarrett Kerns both had 2-run doubles as well. Unfortunately for IDC that is where the scoring would stop. TGIF reviewed the notes from the previous game and started to chip away at their deficit. A 7-run 5th, which included a 2-run double by Warren Gant, brought them some confidence. They came back and added 2 more in the 6th to make the score 15-13. That score held heading into the 7th. After TGIF cut the deficit to 1 on a Ron Pulli RBI single, Warren Gant stepped to the plate with 2 on and 1 out. He blasted a 3-run homer that gave TGIF the lead and the eventual win! TGIF takes it in the thrilling comeback, 17-15.

Chico's plated 5 runs, including extra base hits by Larry Kirschner and Chris Osmain, to take a 5 run lead into the bottom of the final inning. The Titans would get one run back quickly but then get down to their final out. Mike Dura then cleared the bases with a 3-run double to bring them within a run. After the next 2 batters worked walks Tom Moyer came to the plate with the chance to be the hero. He hit a ball that should have been the final out but an error allowed 2 runs to score and the Titans to win the game in a walk off, 21-20.
