Game 1: Vertex Pest Management (0-2) at Mayhem (2-1)
Mayhem gets 2 in the bottom of the 1st on a single, RBI triple and another RBI hit to go up 2-0. Vertex gets a solo HR by Dave Ulmer in the top of the 2nd and then 2 more in the 3rd on singles. Mayhem goes quiet until the 4th when they get four straight leadoff hits and a sac fly to plate 3 and take the lead 5-3. They’d plate 4 more in the 5th on six straight two-out hits to extend their lead to 9-3. Each team would get 1 in the 7th and Mayhem takes this one 10-4.

Game 2: Hemlock Philosophers (0-2) at Ballz Deep (2-0)
Ballz Deep gets 2 in the bottom of the 1st on four singles and Hemlock gets 1 back in the top of the 2nd on three singles and then takes the lead in the 2nd on four singles. Ballz Deep plates 5 in the 5th on two singles, a sac fly, a walk, a 3-run HR by Angelo Vitantonio, a single, an error and another single to take a 7-3 lead. Hemlock gets a 2-run HR by Kevin Hott in the 6th to cut the lead to 7-5. BD comes up in the 6th and bats around, plating 10 runs on singles and doubles. Hemlock attempts a comeback, getting 7 of their first 8 men on base and scoring 6 of them but they’d run out of outs and lose 17-11.

Game 3: Irish Car Bombs (1-1) at The Commission (2-0)
ICB starts off strong with 6 in the 1st on mostly singles and a double. Commission gets 1 back in the bottom half on 4 singles but ICB gets it back in the bottom half with a solo HR by Zach Martin. Commission gets 4 in the bottom of the 2nd on five singles but ICB answers with 4 runs on two singles, two errors, a walk and a sac fly in the top of the 3rd. Commission gets 5 back in the bottom half of the 3rd only to give up another 4 runs in the top of the 4th. The Commission gets another 2 runs back in the bottom of the 4th to makes the score 15-11 in favor of ICB but then would give up 7 runs to ICB in the top of the 5th on a single, a groundout, an error and 8 more hits including a grand slam by Jarred Gardner. Commission gets 2 back in the bottom half on singles and sac flies and finally holds ICB to a scoreless inning in the top of the 6th but then does nothing in the bottom half. ICB gets 2 in the top of the 7th to take an 11 run lead. Commission could only muster up 4 runs and lost 24-17.

Game 4: Outback Steakhouse (1-2) at Irish Car Bombs (2-1)
Outback gets a quick 2 runs in the top of the 1st on four hits but ICB would answer with a solo HR by Ryan Goodman followed by 2 more runs on singles in the bottom of the 2nd and then 2 more runs on three extra base hits in the 3rd. Outback gets 1 back in the 4th but IBC gets 2 in the bottom half. Outback is held in the 5th and ICB goes off, plating 9 runs on 9 singles and back to back HRs by Jarred Gardner and Anthony Crawford to take a 16-3 lead. Outback gets 1 in the 6th and 3 in the 7th but it’s not enough and ICB takes their 2nd win of the night by the score of 16-7.
