Game 1: The Commission (3-3) at Irish Car Bombs (4-2)
This one is over in a hurry. Commission gets 1 in the top of the 1st but ICB answers with 6 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd on a Zach Martin 2-run HR. Commission gets a 2-run HR and a grand slam by John Erb in the 2rd and 4th but not before ICB plates 5 in the 3rd and 9 more in the 4th to take this one 22-7.

Player of the game: Zach Martin (ICB): 4/4 (HIT FOR THE CYCLE), 3 R, 4 RBI

Game 2: Callahan Auto (2-4) at Hemlock Philosophers (1-4)
Callahan plates 3 in the top of the 1st but Hemlock would answer with 11 of their own on a walk ,a ground out and eleven hits including a 3-run HR by Randy Rongione. Callahan responds by matching the 11-spot in the top of the 2nd. A walk, four hits, an error followed by four more hits gives Callahan a 14-11 lead. It wouldn’t last as Hemlock plates 5 in the bottom of the 2nd on four hits and 3 straight walks. Callahan ties the game in the top of the 3rd but Hemlock takes a 6 run lead in the bottom half on three hits, three errors and two sac flies. Two 2-run HRs by Mike Kuhn and John Lock get 4 of those runs back for Callahan in the top of the 4th by Hemlock stays hot and plates 5 more in the bottom half on six hits, a groundout and a sac fly. Callahan goes cold and Hemlock would plate 3 more in the 5th and take this one 30-20.

Player of the game: Kevin Hott (Hemlock): 4/4 (2 1B, 2B, 3B), BB, 3 R, 6 RBI

Game 3: Outback Steakhouse (2-4) at Vertex Pest Management (0-4)
This is another one that was over quickly. Outback comes out swinging, plating 11 runs in the 1st on nine hits, two walks and two sac flies. Vertex gets 5 back but that’s all they’d do on the night. Outback would go one to score 8 in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th and 5 in the 5th to take this one 28-5.

Player of the game: Schi Berk (Outback): 3/4 (1B, 2 HR), 3 R, 6 RBI

Game 4: Mayhem (4-2) at Vertex Pest Management (0-5)
Mayhem gets 2 in the top of the 1st and Vertex answers with 5 in the bottom half on a bunch of singles. Single, triple, single, walk, single, walk, double and a 3-run HR by Matt McCleary gives Mayhem an 11-5 lead in the top of the 2nd. Vertex answers with 5 in the bottom half on singles and sac flies. Mayhem gets 2 more in the 3rd and Vertex answers with 3. Mayhem gets 3 in the top of the 4th and Vertex could only manage 1. They’d hold Mayhem in the top of the 5th and then tie the game at 16 in the bottom of the 5th on singles and sac flies. Mayhem would go on to score 3 in the 6th and 5 in the 7th while holding Vertex to nothing and take this one 24-16.

Player of the game: Mike Bitterlich (Mayhem): 5/5 (2 1B, 2 2B, HR), BB, 4 R, 7 RBI
