Game 1: Andy’s vs. Go Roostr

A leadoff double by Chris Hackney helps Andy’s score two runs in the top of the first. GR gets on the board in the bottom of the second with three runs on singles. Evan Porter smokes a two run triple for GR in the bottom of the third. A leadoff double by John Erb and a Bryan Peterman triple nets Andy’s a run in the top of the fourth. Andy’s plates another run in both the top of the fifth and sixth innings. Kevin Roche blasts a two run homer for GR in the bottom of the sixth. Go Roostr takes the first game, 9-5.

Game 2: Go Roostr vs. Andy’s

Kevin Roche jacks a two run homer for GR in the top of the first. Andy’s answers with four runs on singles in the bottom of the first. A leadoff double by Bill Thomas helps GR score a run in the top of the third. A triple by Jay Cybok helps Andy’s put up a run in the bottom of the third. Kevin Roche launches another two run homer for GR in the top of the fourth. John ERb laces a run scoring double for Andy’s in the bottom of the fourth. Another Bill Thomas nets GR a run in the top of the fifth. Evan Porter rips an RBI double as three runs cross the plate for GR in the top of the sixth. Andy’s rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Go Roostr survies to win the second game, 9-8, and the summer title.
