Game 1: Nancy’s vs. Richies Too

Nancy’s scores a run in the top of the first. RT answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. In the bottom of the fourth Tom Koelzer blasts a two run homer for RT. In the bottom of the sixth RT pulls away by adding six runs on on singles, a double by Chris Hackney, and a Doug Moninghoff triple. Richies Too downs Nancy’s, 11-1.

Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Richies Too

HH starts with a run in the top of the first. RT answers with a three run homer by Tom Koelzer in the bottom of the first. HH adds six runs in the top of the second on walks and a grand slam by Jay Muir. Doug Moninghoff smokes a two run in the park homer for RT in the bottom of the second. HH plates four runs in the top of the third thanks to a double by Keith Keppley, and a Gary Thompson two run triple. Tom Koelzer jacks another three run homer to help RT in the bottom of the third. RT uses singles to pick up four more runs in the bottom of the fourth. HH rallies in the top of the seventh by batting around to score ten runs on singles, and a three run triple by Jay Muir. RT has a three run rally of their own in the bottom of the seventh. Hagan’s Heroes comes back to defeat Richies Too, 23-18.

Game 3: Go Roostr vs. Hagan’s Heroes

GR gets four runs in the top of the first thanks to a Kevin Roche RBI double, and a leadoff in the park homer by Rob Lyons. HH answers with three runs in the bottom of the first on errors and singles. Kevin Roche launches a grand slam for GR in the top of the third. HH adds two runs in the bottom of the third. Kevin Roches smashes a two run homer for GR in the top of the fifth. HH closes the gap in the bottom of the fifth with six runs courtesy of an RBI triple by James McLaughlin, and a Gary Thompson two run homer. Kevin Rohe completes the RBI cycle in the top of the seventh with smoking a three run triple for GR. Go Roostr beats Hagan’s Heroes, 16-11.
