Game #2 – Shark’s vs. Roos
Jake Blum get this game started off fast with a leadoff home run for the Roos. Dave Cunningham and Doug Farrar net two more runs on an RBI double and sac fly respectfully. Sharks respond with two runs of their own with two RBI singles from Tom Finn and Jason Kamienski. Both teams score two runs in the second as this game continues to be just a one run game. Sharks bat around in the third and break this game wide open scoring eight runs and lead 12-6 after three. In the inning, Sharks get RBI singles from Kamineski, Steve Reichling, Kristin Jackamonis and Karen Krall. Lisa Silvestri also added a two run single. Roos get two back in the fourth making it a four run game. This was short lived though as Sharks go right back to work this time sending eleven runs across the plate. Tom Finn had a big two run bomb in the inning to go along with a bunch of RBI singles. Sharks take this one late and win on mercy rule. Sharks win 23-8.

Game #3 – Sons of Pitches vs. New Age
Coty Thomas gets the third game started with an RBI walk to give New Age an early lead. Mark Mound doubled that with a sac fly the very next at bat. Jon Motts equals that for Pitches as he smacks a two run sac fly on a deep bomb to the track. Pitches grab two more runs later in the inning and lead by two after just one inning. Charlotee LaRose nets an RBI single for New Age to cut the Pitches lead to one. That is quickly answered by a Carl Motts sac fly as this game is really showing great defense from both teams. Both teams grab a run in the fourth as we stand at a one run game after four innings of play. Pitches get a big sixth inning pushing three runs across off a Jill Beck RBI single and Jesse Kuiper two run double. New Age stuggles to get anything going late as Pitches will hold off in this one.
