Game #1 – Techline Trauma vs. The Maize

Techline comes out and grabs one run right out of the gate from a Rick Pipito RBI single. The Maize responds qucikyl and bats around in the first, sending 21 batters to the plate in the process. Gavin Garges started the scoring for Maize with a two run triple. Walks hurt Techline in the inning as they give up RBI walks to six different batters. Michelle Eggito and Sam Altmiller also add RBI singles in the inning. Techline go down in the next couple innings without any runs and Maize steps up in the third with another big inning, this time sending seven runs across the plate. Gary Kleinschmdt and Joe DeSousa had RBI singles in the inning as the whole team stepped up in this one. The Maize wins 22-1.

Game #2 – Techline Trauma vs. Bry Lex

Techline comes out in the next game trying to avenge their first game, but quickly fall to a defecit after the first. Bry Lex bats around in the first and scores ten. Ryan Hines starts the scoring with an RBI double and that is immediately followed by an RBI triple from Colin Donohoe. Tom Koelzer, Steph Hines and Lowell Snyder also all have RBI singles in the inning. Bry Lex gets six straight RBI singles in the inning later as well. More of the same comes in the second. Doug Moninghoff starts it with a two run double and a couple of batters later, Donohoe smacks and RBI double of his own. Techline finally gets on the board in the fourth with an RBI single from Tom Kelly. This was after another big inning from Bry Lex in the third. Moninghoff and Hines had RBI singles in the inning and Bryce Bundy clear the bases with a grand slam into the quarry night. In the end, Bry Lex take this one easy. Bry Lex win 24-1.

Game #3 – New Age vs. LA Pools

The final game of the night gets going with a six run inning from New Age. Keith Briggs, Mark Maund and Coty Thomas all start with RBI singles and later in the inning Rachel White smacks a two run single. Pools cut that lead in half with an RBI double from Mike Cianfichi and RBI from Tom Finn. Neither team scores in the second before New Age grabs scores two runs in the third off a two run bomb from Coty Thomas. More of the same in the fourth as New Age pushes across another four runs. Chris Pflaumer had a two run single and Bob Sipes had a RBI triple in the inning. Pools try and mount the comeback late getting seven runs across the sixth and seventh innings. Joan Glass and Larry Wagner had RBI singles in the sixth and Greg Reilly, Darcy Rabenda, Tom Finn, Glass and Mike Cianfichi had RBI singles in the seventh. In the end, it was not enough as Pools will fall in this one. New Age wins 13-10.
