Game #1 – Roos vs. Blue Dog Tavern

Roos start up early in this one grabbing an early 4-0 lead from Jake Blum and John Maricin RBI singles and a two run triple from Steph Farrar. Blue Dog’s respond in a big way grabbing seven runs in the bottom of the inning. Ed Reynolds had a two run double and Bill Roth had a two run single in the inning. Blum was back at it again for Roos in the second with another RBI single, his second of the game as they tail 8- 6 after two innings. Roos tie the game up in the fourth from a two run bomb off the bat of Jeremy Villano. The fifth inning comes with a lead change as Roos explode for thirteen runs. Tom Montvydas starts it with a two run single followed by a two run triple from Jake Blum. Villano smashes a two run home run a batter later, giving him his second homer of the game. A couple of batters later, Steph Farrar smashes a two run homer as they lead 21-9 after five innings. Blue Dog falls apart late in this one and falls. Roos win 23-9.

Game #2 – Dugout Demons vs. Carroll’s

The second game of the night starts off with back to back RBI doubles from Evan Porter and Jarret Kerns giving them a 2-0 lead. Carroll’s respond in the bottom of the first with three runs of their own. Bryan Bart started it with an RBI double and Bill Shipe smacked a two run double. Neither team scores in the second setting the table for the third inning. Demons come out and smoke the ball in the inning almost batting around twice to score 15 runs. Cody Runner started the scoring with a two run sac fly followed by a two run bomb from Evan Porter. Jarret Kerns made it back to back homers from Demons with a solo shot. Later in the inning, Rob Lyons clears the bases on a bases clearing triple. Kerns added another homer run later in the inning, his second home run of the game. Demons continue to hit the ball well in the following two innings as they run away with this game. Demons win 27-8.

Game #3 – Andy’s vs. Sons of Pitches

Chase Luxton gets the final game of the night going with an RBI double. A couple batters later, Chris Hesdon ropes a two run triple to give them an early 5-0 lead. Pitches respond with two runs of their own with help from an RBI single from Chris Edgar. Andy’s continue their rampage in the second getting three more runs across the plate. Jay Cybok and Brittany Ulman had RBI singles in the inning. Pitches continue to play small ball and grab two more runs in the second. The scoring would stop from there from on for Pitches. Andy’s grab two more runs in the fourth from back to back RBI singles from Hesdon and Kelly Neill. Both teams would calm down at the plate and pick up their defensive game. Neither team would score for the rest of the game and Andy’s will take this one. Andy’s win 11-4.
