Game #1 – Bry-Lex vs. Andy’s

Andy’s jump out to an early lead grabbing seven runs across the first couple of innings. Mike Koz and Jay Pane started the scoring with RBI singles while Chase Luxton added a couple on a two run single. Ryan Conahan also smacked a shot that scored two on a sac fly. Bry-Lex gets on the board in the third getting four runs of their own. Ryan Hines had an RBI double, Colin Donohoe had a sac fly and Nick Diapolo smacked an RBI single. Andy’s respond with two more runs in the bottom of the inning. Jay Pane had an RBI single and Warren Grant got one in off a sac fly. Andy’s have a big sixth inning which really help to put this game away. Danielle Buzin cleared the bases with a single and Grant, Ian Cuzzo and Jay Cybok all delivered RBI hits in the inning as Andy’s was too much for Bry-Lex in this one.

Game #2 – Son’s of Pitches vs. The Maize

Carl Motts gets Pitches on the board early with a two run triple. He is knocked in by a RBI single from CJ Motts and a couple of batters later, Pitches net another run on a RBI triple from Chris Edgar. Maize get three of those runs back on an RBI single from Gary Kleinschmidt and a couple of errors. Pitches stay hot and net another nine runs in the second. Jon Motts delivered the big shot in the inning with a three run bomb. Chris Edgar also had a big one in the inning, his being a bases clearing triple. Pete Edgar also got in on the party and smacked a solo bomb. It was all Pitches for the rest of the game as their bats continued to glow red and blow the cover off the softball. Tyler Motts had three RBI singles and P. Edgar also had three more RBI hits over the course of the next couple of innings as Pitches end this one early due to Mercy rule. Pitches win 29-9.

Game #3 –Roos vs. The Maize

Roos score first grabbing two runs thanks to an Anthony Crawford RBI double and an error. Maize immediately match that and score three runs of their own to take the lead after one quick inning. Gary K started the scoring with an RBI double followed by a Same A and Gavin G RBI hit the next two batters. Things would start to go downhill from there as Roos get hot from the plate. Jeremey Villano helps start a seven run 2nd inning with a two run single and is followed up by a Crawford RBI double, and RBI singles from Jess Behr and John Margicin. Roos roll right into the third when they get 10 more runs. Margicin had a two run triple and Tom Montvydas added a solo bomb. Villano and Crawford both stayed hot at the plate with RBI hits in the inning as well. Roos put the game away late with a two run bomb from Montvydas and a three run dinger into the woods from Crawford. Roos win this game easy. Roos win 25-3.

Game #4 – Blue Dog vs. Dug Out Demons

Blue Dog strikes first in this one getting an RBI double from Mark McCouch, sac fly from Dave Gers and RBI hit from Jason Robinson. They would also add one more run from a Paul Hensler RBI single in the second. Things would go downhill from there from Blue Dog. Demons grab three runs in the first thanks to an Evan Porter RBI single and two run bomb from Cody Runner. Porter would get going again in the third, this time smashing a grand slam deep into the woods. Porter and Runner would continue to pace the offense for Demons on the night as they both go deep again later in the game. Porter would smash a two run homer in the fifth and Runner would smash a grand slam of his own in the sixth. In the end, it was all Demons in this long, especially thanks to the long ball. Demons win 20-6.
