Game #1 – Dugout Demons vs. The Maize

Demons grab an early 3-0 lead after a sac fly from Nick Mancini, RBI single from Kevin Roche and RBI double from Evan Porter. Maize get on the board in the second from an RBI single from Bill W, but runs would hard to come by in this one for them. Demons bat around in the third for 11 runs. Roche started the scoring with a two run double and that is followed up with back to back RBI doubles from Bill Shallcross and Cody Runner. Porter also had an RBI single in the inning as well. Demons put this game away early in the fourth after getting seven more runs. Porter smashed a solo bomb in the inning and Ron Bannister added a two run double as well. Demons win 21-1.

Game #2 – Andy’s vs. LA Pools

Chase Luxton and Ian Cuzzo get Andy’s started with two RBI hits as they take an early 2-0 lead. Pools respond with two RBI singles from Mike Cianfichi and Tom Finn. Andy’s grab four more runs across the next couple of innings after Mike Koelzer smacks a sac fly and Cuzzo hit another RBI single. Glen Hipple smashes a two run bomb in the bottom of the third for Pools as they cut the Andy’s lead down to two runs. Andy’s take off starting the fourth after getting a ten run inning. Cuzzo continue to swing a big bat, smashing a three run bomb into the woods, also getting two run singles from Ron Pulli and Mike Koz and an RBI double from Chase Luxton. Andy’s put the game away after a number of RBI singles late and roll easy in this one. Andy’s win 22-10.

Game #3 – Andy’s vs. Roos

Andy’s start up their second game of the night, looking to have the success that they just encountered in the first game. Cuzzo continues to have a great day as he starts them off with an RBI double followed by a Warren Grant and Brittany Ulman RBI single later in the inning. Roos respond with one run of their own, from an RBI double from Alex Elmore. Jay Pane and Jay Cybok delivery RBI singles in the third as they double their lead to 8-4 after three innings of play. Roos grabbed six runs across the bottom of the third and bottom of fourth. Villano and Anthony Crawford start it with an RBI single and RBI double and Elmore also added an RBI single to help the cause. Andy’s get two runs in the fifth from a Warren Grant RBI single and Danizelle Buzin RBI single and that would be enough in this one. Defense shuts down the last couple of innings and they are able to hold on in this one. Andy’s win 10-8.

Game #4 – New Age vs. Sons of Pitches

New Age opens up a big lead in the top of the first after getting six runs. Keith Briggs started it with an RBI single and later in the inning Mark White had a two run double, Rachel White had an RBI single and Rich Peterson had an RBI single. Pitches get five back in the bottom of the first to help pull them to within one run. CJ Motts smacked a two run bomb and Jill Beck had an RBI double later in the inning. Pitches erupt in the second inning as they bat around twice and score 16 runs in the inning. Motts had another big blow with a three run bomb this time and Carl Motts added an RBI triple and RBI double in the inning as well. The whole team helped in this one as they all delivered RBI singles across the inning. New Age grabs another run in the second, but that is the last one they will score in this one as Pitches roll easy in this one. Pitches win 25-7.
