Game #1 – Rock and Rebel vs. Dugout Demons

Jake Haber gives Demons the early lead with an RBI double. A batter later, Pat Kelly sends a deep fly ball to the fence which is caught, but will bring in one more run. Keith Keppley takes that lead to 6-2 with one swing smashing a grand slam deep into the woods. Demons continue to roll every inning grabbing another three runs in the third inning. Haber was back at it again for the Demons in the fourth smashing a three run bomb as they look to pull away. Pat Kelly adds one more home run for the Demons in the fifth inning and it looks like it will be more than enough to hold off Rock in this one. Demons wins 19-3.

Player of the Game:

Game #2 – LA Pools vs. Carroll’s Jewelers

The second game of the night gets started with a bang as Carroll’s come out swinging the bats very well. Greg Lesher starts the scoring with a two run bomb followed up by a Keving Shinkunas RBI double. Hallie Bilker and Ray Patano then smack RBI singles leading up to a Kelly Gallagher RBI triple that helps to round out the inning. Shinkunas adds a solo homer in the second pushing their lead out to 12-0. Home Runs continue to give Carroll’s the advantage as Shinkunas goes deep again in the fourth, this time a two run shot. Pools are finally able to get going in the fifth grabbing two runs before adding another three runs in the sixth. Greg Rielly had a big solo homer in the inning. Reilly was back at it again with a two run single for Pools in the seventh, but they would still come up short and fall in this one. Carroll’s win 18-8.

Game #3 – Sons of Pitches vs. LA Pools

Bryl Villanueva starts the scoring for Pitches with an RBI double, which is then followed up by a Jon Motts sac fly and CJ Motts RBI single. Pools get one run back on a sac fly from Tom Finn. Pitches get right back to it with two home runs in the second, the first a three run shot from Villanueva and a two run shot from CJ Motts. Both teams are quiet before CJ Motts goes deep again in the fourth inning pushing their lead up to 12-2. Pitches keep the pressure on by adding four runs in the fifth and eight runs in the sixth. Dad Motts added another home run for the Pitches as they will win this one easy. Sons of Pitches win 24-2
