Game #1 – Rock and Rebel vs. The Maize

Rock and Rebel get going quick with 10 runs right out of the gate. Ed Reynolds started it with a two run single and then Bobby Citrino smashes a two run bomb a batter later. Reynolds was back at it again in the second getting another two run single, giving him four RBI’s already in this game. The Maize get o the board in the bottom of the inning thanks to a two run single from Keith Bellinger and a Allisse Delhaugen RBI walk. The next couple of innings are dominated by defense. Bobby Citrino smashed another home run in the fifth which starts to put this game away for Rebel. Mark McCouch really ends this game with a three-run bomb of his own in the sixth as Rebel takes it easy. Rock and Rebel win 18-5.

Game #2 – Rock and Rebel vs. Bad Pitches Only

Rebel gets rolling again with four runs right out of the gate. McCouch starts it with an RBI double, followed by back-to-back RBI singles from Ed Reynolds and Bobby Citrino. Emily Kline also added an RBI single in the inning. Bad Pitches are able to get one run back on a sac fly from Conor Pierce. Bad Pitches rally for five runs in the third inning and score four runs. Jimmy Gallagher had a big bases clearing triple in the inning. Rebel tie this game up on a Bill Roth III RBI single as we are late in this game all tied up. Rebel steps into the seventh trailing by one looking to win this game. Bill Roth nets them the tying run on a RBI hit and Paul Hensler gives them the lead with an RBI single. Bad Pitches go down in order and will fall in this one. Rock and Rebel win 7-6.

Game #3 – LA Pools vs. Roos


Jeremy Villano gets the final game of the night going with a three run bomb right out of the gate. LA Pools get one run back on a sac fly from Samantha Stoops. Pools then get two more runs on a two run single from Greg Lavin. Roos grab another couple of runs from back to back hits from John Marcigan and Selina Alicea. Roos blow this game open in the fourth pushing across 10 runs in total. Jake Blum smashed a solo homer and grand slam in the same inning and Dave Blum and Marcigan both had RBI’s as well. LA Pools get four runs in the fourth, but it just was not nearly enough in this one. Roos win 17-7.
