Game #1 – Roos vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Jeremy Villano and Chris Lansberry starts the scoring for Roos with back-to-back RBI singles right out of the gate to give them a 3-0 lead. Sluggers get one run back in the bottom of the inning. Sluggers get rolling in the right direction with four runs in the second and take a 5-4 lead. Nick had a RBI triple and Dave had a two run double. Sluggers keep it going with nine runs across the third and fourth innings as they bats heat up. Jake S had a two run triple and Jarret K added two runs as well. A bases loaded triple from Axel seals this game late as Sluggers will dominate from start to finish. Roos start hot but then go ice cold. Sluggers win 19-4.

Game #2 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Sons of Pitches


Sluggers cool done from there break between games as they can only grab two runs across the first three innings in game 2 of their doubleheader. The good thing for Sluggers is that Pitches come out just as cold and do not push any runs across the first three innings. Sluggers double their lead up to 4-0 after RBI singles from Dave C and Axel. Pitches get on the board in the third as well. Carl Motts starts the scoring followed by back to back RBI’s from Bryl V and John Duchette. Sluggers keep it rolling as they heat back up for five more runs. Julie W and Dave C help with RBI singles while Curt H smashed a big sac fly for another run. Sluggers put the game away with four runs in the seventh as they will win both of their games tonight.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Bad Pitches Only

Demons come out of the gates flying in this one batting around in the first inning and smashing six runs. Ben Razzi had the big shot with a two run homer while Patt Kelly and Jay Pane had RBI doubles and triples respectfully. They get back to work in the second inning with two more runs. Shallcross had a RBI triple in the inning. Shallcross was back at work in the third inning with a three run mob as Demons push another seven runs across. Jay Pane also had his second RBI triple in the game in the inning. Demons finish this one early in the fifth, batting around for the third time in the game and winning this one easy. Pat Kelly delivered a grand slam in the inning to put it away. Demons win 24-5.

Game #4 – Wackers vs. Carroll’s

The final game of the night starts with a Kevin Shinkunas two run triple. Wackers answer and get on the board in the second. Brian D and Mike Ivers had RBI singles in the inning. Carroll’s don’t wait long to respond and they answer back in the second with six runs of their own. Kelly Gallagher started the rally with a two run single, followed by a Greg Lesher RBI double and Bryan Bart sac fly. Alex A answers for Wackers in the fourth with a two run bomb and Eden Harvest added two runs on a two run double. Back and forth we go in this one as each inning we have a lead change. Carroll’s take the lead back in the fifth with a six run inning. Lesher was back at it again with a two run triple as he continues to produce for Carroll’s. Carroll’s add four insurance runs in the sixth as they will take this one. Carroll’s win 20-15.
