Game #1 – Carroll’s vs. Mott-ley Crew

Both teams come out slow scoring nothing in the first inning. Kelly Gallagher gets this game started with a sac fly giving them a 1-0 lead early. Crew get that run plus one back in the bottom of the inning on a Jon Duchette RBI fielder’s choice and Greg Reilly RBI double. Crew get back to work in the third inning getting an RBI double off the bat of CJ Motts which then sets up a big Evan Porter two run blast. Porter was back at it again in the fourth where he blasts another ball into orbit, this time a three run bomb. Jon Motts also added two runs on a single in the inning as Crew lead 11-1. Gallagher grabs two more RBI’s in the sixth inning, but she has no more help tonight as Crew will roll in this one. Mott-ley Crew win 18-3.

Game #2 – Total Liquidators vs. Knuckleheads

Knuckleheads strike first in a big way pushing across 11 runs right out of the gate. Jesse Faller leads the game off with a solo homer, followed by RBI singles from John Schofield and Anthony Crawford. Faller adds another homer later in the inning, this time a three run shot. Liquidators get seven of those runs back in the second inning. Scott Carroll smashes a three run bomb to get the scoring started followed by a Charlie Kelly RBI double. Bryce Bundy also added two runs on a double later in the inning. Knuckleheads get back to work in the second, with a RBI double from Brandon Birkhead as well as a two run bomb off the bat of Jon Poore. Yet again, Liquidators battle back in the next inning, again scoring seven runs. Kelly delivered again for them with a two run double as well as Cody Miller delivering on an RBI double. Liquidators make this a two run game in the fifth with a sac fly from Kelly. This was shorted lived as Knuckleheads come out again firing. Steph Farrar had a big three run bomb in the inning as knuckleheads look to put this one away. In the end, it was too much for Liquidators as they will take this one. Knuckleheads win 21-18.

Game #3 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Roos

Roos strike first with a Hannah I RBI single as they take the early lead in the first. Sluggers fight back in the bottom of the inning in a massive way smashing across seven runs in the bottom of the inning. Jackie Heim got the scoring started with an RBI single followed by a two run bomb off the bat of Jarret Kerns. Krysta W also knocks in a run on an RBI single later in the inning. Sluggers get right back to it in the second inning, this time pushing across 10 runs in total. Nonny and Heim get them started again with back to back RBI singles followed by a two run double from Jarret Kerns and two run single from Tom Koezler. Tyler smashes a grand slam later in the inning and Sluggers really start to pull away in this one. Kerns smashes a three run homer later in the game as Sluggers will run away with this one. Sluggers win 20-2.

Game #4 – Dugout Demons vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Demons strike first on an RBI single from Charlie Hooker. Sluggers keep the bats red hot as they grab nine runs right out of the gate in the bottom of the inning. Heim starts the scoring again with a sac fly, followed by a Kerns solo bomb. Axel gets into the home run party with a three run bomb before Katie O knocks in a run on an RBI single. Steph Thrasher grabs a run in the third on an RBI single followed by a sac fly from Curt Hensman a batter later. Demons struggle at the plate until the seventh when they are able to push across five runs. Keith Keppley grabs a run on an RBI single which is then followed up by a Hooker RBI double. Shallcross and Jay Pane add back to back RBI singles later in the inning, but it is going to be too much of Sluggers in this one as Demons fall. Sluggers win 11-7.
