Game #1 –Sharks vs. Dugout Demons

Sharks get on the board early with a leadoff double from Glen Hipple and RBI single from Ed Doyle. Demons go down in the bottom of the inning without any runs. Neither team scores in the second inning as this one starts off slow. Sharks add four more runs in the third with another hit from Doyle, this time a two run single. Tom Finn adds a RBI single of his own a batter later and Sharks go up 5-0. They shut down the Demons again in the third. Demons finally get on the board in the fourth with a Jenn Sevitsky RBI double. Demons add another run in the fifth to pull the Sharks lead to three. Sharks get back to scoring runs and push across nine runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Jason Kamienski started it with a two run double followed by a Kevin Finn RBI double. Sharks also got three straight RBI singles from Lisa Silvestri, Steve Reichling and Doyle. Demons get three runs back in the last inning, but it would not be enough in this one. Sharks win 14-6.

Player of the Game:
Ed Doyle (Sharks) – 3/4, 4 RBI’s

Game #2 – Carrolls vs. Andy’s

Both teams get one run in the first inning to get this one rolling. Andy’s blow up in the second inning and bat around for 14 runs. Cybok and Hesdon started the rally with RBI singles and that was followed by a Jay Pane single, Adam Lightkep two run double and Chase Luxton two run single. The second time through the lineup brought more of the same with a Ron Pulli RBI single, Cybok RBI walk and Brittany Ullman two run double. The score is 15-1 after all of the damage is done. Carrolls get three of those runs back with a Kyle Gallagher and Bryan Bart RBI single and a Bill Shipe RBI double. Andy’s immediately answer as they continue to hit the ball well. Luxton did all the damage with a Grand Slam for Andy’s. Both teams add a few more runs over the course of the rest of the game, but Andy’s offense would be too much in this one. Andy’s win 21-6.

Player of the Game:
Chase Luxton (Andy’s) – 4/4, HR, 7 RBI’s

Game#3 – Wackers vs. Sons of Pitches

The third game of the night starts off with a Kavit Saloni double who then scores on a Matt Figuroa sac fly. Pitches respond right in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own to take a one run lead. Danny Hinchcliff had a RBI triple and Carl Motts had a sac fly. Wackers get four runs in the second with RBI singles from Laura Albertson and Vanessa Jones adding to the action. An Erik Zzostak RBI single and Gene Schwendeman two run single help push Wackers lead up to 8-3. Pitches get back into the game in the third as they send 12 batters to the plate. Hincfliff and Motts started the scoring with RBI singles followed by a Jesse Kuipe RBI single. Jon Motts clears everyone else with a three run home run. In the end, Pitches take a 10-8 lead. They continue with their hot bats in the next inning getting six more runs. Hincliff and Fink had RBI’s to start the inning and Jill Beck and Justin Ruch added RBI singles later in the inning. Pitches would continue with their momentum adding a couple more runs over the next couple innings and they would be too much for Wackers. Pitches win 19-11.

Player of the Game:
Danny Hinchcliff (Pitches) – 4/4, 2B, 3B, 4 RBI’s

Game #4 – New Age vs. Wackers

Wackers match them with two runs in the bottom of the inning from a Bill Brancato two run double. Wackers match that in second inning and take a 4-2 lead. Brancato delivers again in the third, this time a RBI single as they increase their lead to 6-3. Wackers open up the game in the fifth inning as they bat around. Alex Freeman started the scoring with a RBI double followed by a Brancato two run triple, a Zaostak RBI single and Mike Kelly two run single. In the end they scored eight and took a 14-5 lead. New Age battles back for five runs off a two run single from Mark Maund and two run triple from Jim Kennedy. Wackers put this one to bed for good as they grab four more insurance runs and win this one late. Szostak smacks a two run to help seal it. Wackers win 18-12.

Bill Brancato (Wackers) – 4/4, 2B, 2 3B’s, 5 RBI’s
