Week 3 at Quarry (Saturday Makeup)

Game #1 –The Mazie vs. Sons of Pitches

The Maize wins 7-0 due to forfeit.



Game #2 – Andy’s vs. Shark’s

Andy’s get the game going with a RBI single from Chase Luxton and two run single from Danielle Buzin. Shark’s answer that quickly and in a big way as they send 14 batters to the plate and score nine runs. They got RBI singles from Ed Doyle, Jason Kamienski, Joe Sharp, Mark Danauski, Stephanie Green and Rhiannon Keppley. Steve Reichling also had a two run single in the inning as they hold a six run lead. Andy’s tie this game up in the third with a two run double from Ron Pulli, RBI double from Jay Cybok and two run bomb from Jason Ashworth. Pulli is back at it again with a two run triple in the fourth as Andy’s takes the lead. Andy’s bats continue to stay hot as Ian Cuozzo adds a two run triple and Luxton, Pulli and Cybok add RBI’s as well. After a strong first inning from Shark’s, they struggle at the plate through the rest of the game. Andy’s win 22-9.

Game#3 – Bry Lex vs. Shark’s

Bry Lex opens up a quick lead in this one grabbing six runs across two innings. Shawn Pfleger started the scoring with an RBI hit followed by RBI singles from Cindy Snyder and Ryan Hines. Cody Miller powered home a run after a laser shot of the fence for a double. Colin Donohoe added a run a batter later on a sac fly. Sharks continue to struggle on the day and don’t get their first run until the third, off a Kevin Finn RBI hit. Bry Lex get three more runs on a Pfleger RBI single and Lowell Snyder two run single. Sharks finally get going on the day in the fifth with a big four run inning. Joe Sharp had an RBI single, Mark Danauski had a two run single and Finn had a sac fly. They cut the lead to 9-5. Sharks get two more runs in the sixth from an Ed Doyle sac fly and Kamienski RBI double as they cut the score to 9-7. Sharks head to the bottom of the seventh down by two and running out of time. Finn gets them to within one run on a RBI single and a batter later, Brittany Ullman walks this one off with a two run double. Sharks win in walkoff fashion. Sharks win 10-9.

Game #4 – Carroll’s vs. Demons

Demons get the last game on this Saturday started with a four run first inning. Nick Mancini started it all off with an RBI single and Brittany Ullman and Katie O’Toole added an RBI single and RBI walk later in the inning. Demons continue to hit well with seven more runs in the second. Mancini had an RBI double, Sevitski had an RBI triple and Phil Black had an RBI double. Chris Hackney added a two run triple later in the inning as the Demons lead stands at 11-2. This game continues to be all about the Demons as runs continued to pour in. Mancini added a RBI triple later and Jon Poore smacked a sac fly. Demons lock it down defensively and only give up three runs across the game to Carroll’s. Demons win 15-3.
