Game #1 – Sharks vs. Carroll’s

Sharks blow this one open early with a huge top of the first scoring eleven runs. Tom McCarthy, Joe Sharp and Kevin Finn had RBI singles and Ryan Hamilton and Mark Danowski added RBI doubles as well. Carroll’s respond immediately with nine runs of their own thanks to a RBI double from Bryan Bart and RBI singles from Bill Shipe, Ali Theirs and Theresa Groves. Carroll’s gets six more runs in the second and take a 15-12 lead. Mike Stacey started it with a two run double and Kyle Gallagher had a solo bomb in the inning. Sharks continue to hit well too and add seven runs in the fourth to take the lead back. Mark Daworksi continue to stay hot and had a two run double. Recihling, Hamilton, and Linch also had RBI’s in the inning. Sharks put the game away in the fifth with four more runs thanks to RBI doubles from McCarthy and Finn. Sharks win 25-19.

Game #2 – Pools vs. Sons of Pitches

Pools get three runs in the first with RBI singles from Mike Cianfichi and Krissy Bartynski as well as a Larry Wagner sac fly. Pitches get one back with a solo homer from Dan Geiger. Pitches get six runs in the bottom of the second and take the lead from RBI singles from John Kelly, Geiger and Jon Duchette as well as a two run bomb from Danny Hinchcliff. Pools get 7 runs of their own and take the lead 10-7 after three innings. Darcy Rabenda had a two run single in the inning and Brian Steeber, Bartynski and Groves added RBI single as well. Pools grab a couple more runs until the fifth when Pitches break this game wide open. Pitches push eleven runs across in the fifth along with nine runs in the sixth to make it twenty total as they take a 27-15 lead. Duchette, Jesse Kuiper and Danny Hinchcliff all had home runs in the inning. In the end, Pitches were too much for Pools and pull through in this one. Pitches win 27-15.

Game#3 – Demons vs. Andy’s

The last game of the night starts off slow with Demons pushing one run across and Andy’s getting two runs across. Both teams score two runs in the second as this game remains close. Shanna Gardner had a two run single for Demons and Adam Lightkep had a two run single for Andy’s. Demons tie the game up with a RBI single from Nick Mancini in the third, but that is quickly overrun with solo home runs from both Chase Luxton and Ian Cuzzo. The runs were short lived for Andy’s as they continue to struggle at the plate for the rest of the game. Mancini smashes a grand slam in the fifth for Demons as well as RBI singles from Zach Martin and Katie Wiley. Demons add a couple more runs and take this one easy. Demons win 14-6.
