Game One: Beers v. HG Coal Fire Pizza

Scott Runzer for Beers is all the offense they would need. He had three hits which included a bases-clearing triple, a solo bomb and a 2-run shot. He finished the game with 6 rbi. Beers scored 11.
Pizza crew struggled offensively again. Matt Messine reached base on a fielders choice and scored on Andrew Parker’s double. Unfortunately that was the only run-producing offense for the pizza crew on the night. They lose 11-1.


Game Two: Team Horsham v. Vertex

Horsham get a solo homer from Zach Prendergast in the first and a 2-run shot from Benji Abercombe in the 2nd. Zach doubled and scored in the 5th in route to helping Horsham score 8 times.
Vertex on the other hand, much better offensively. 6 runs in the 3rd, 13 runs in the 4th and 4 other runs in the other frames and this was a blowout victory. Sean Nonemacher with the 5-5 night with 5 runs scored. Keith Crowell also perfect on the night with a 4-4 line, driving in 2 and scoring 2. Vertext easy winners 23-8.


Game Three: Ballz Deep v. Dingers

This game may be the night’s only competitive one. Pete Auteri triples home 2 runs in the first inning and then doubled home another in the 5th. Mike Casber scored 3 times as Dingers scored 12 times.
Ballz Deep had a great first inning plating 8 men highlighted by Jim Chapman singling home 2, Sean Butrica doubling home 2 and Gene Walczak doing the same. 8 runs in the frame. John Erb Adrian Reyes both blasted a solo shot in the 7th to provide some insurance and eek out the win, 16-12.


Game Four: Philly Junk v. Mike’s Bar & Grill

This game here was all Philly Junk. Mike’s Bar & Grill pushed across 7 runs which were highlighted by Corey Eyerman triple in the first, Garrett Koehler’s rbi single in the 2nd and Joe Talanco’s 2-run double.
Philly Junk exploded in the 2nd inning with 9 runs (Ryan Habel 3-run homer), 8 runs no the 3rd (Mike Bitterlich and Brandon Burkhead with 2-run homers) and then 10 more runs in the 4th with Mike and Branden homering again. Philly crushed Mike’s 29-7.
