Game 1: Who Cares vs. Nancy’s

WC bats around in the top of the first to score ten runs on singles, and a two run triple by Chris Bowman. Nancy’s gets on the board in the bottom of the second with four runs thanks to doubles by Carmen Brancato and Curt Hensman. Chris Bowman blasts a solo homer for WC in the top of the third. Nancy’s adds six runs in the bottom of the third on errors and singles. Jarrett Kerns and Jaden Newman both jacks homers for Nancy’s in the bottom of the fourth. Jaden Newman rips an RBI double for Nancy’s in the bottom of the sixth. Nancy’s out slugs Who Cares, 16-13.

Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Nancy’s

Gary Thompson blasts a two run homer for HH in the top of the first. Nancy’s answers with five runs in the bottom of the first on walks and singles. Katie O’Toole smashes a three run homer for HH in the top of the third. Jarrett Kerns smokes an RBI triple for Nancy’s in the bottom of the third. HH uses singles to plate four runs in the top of the fifth. Walks lead to three runs for HH in the top of the sixth. Hagan’s Heroes tops Nancy’s, 15-7.

Game 3: Go Roostr vs. Orphans

GR bats around in the top of the first to score THIRTEEN runs on singles, a Rachel Geringer two run triple, and a three run homer by Kevin Roche. GR bats around again in the top of the third to plate seven runs on singles. Jeremy Vilanno jacks a three run homer for GR in the top of the fourth. The Orphans get on the board in the bottom of the fourth with two runs thanks to an RBI triple by Dave Baker. Go Roostr destroys the Orphans, 25-2.

Game 4: Orphans vs. Richies Too

The Orphans get a run in the top of the first. Axel Alicea blasts a solo homer for RT in the bottom of the second. Doubles by Bryan Peterman and John Erb net RT three runs in the bottom of the third. Errors and singles lead to four runs for the Orphans in the top of the fourth. RT bats around in the bottom of the fourth to pick up eleven runs on singles, doubles by Tom Koelzer and John Erb, and a Doug Moninghoff two run homer. RT finishes it off with three runs in the bottom of the fifth. Richies Too beats down the Orphans, 20-5.
