Game 1: American Legion v Sons of Pitches

SOP starts with one and goes quietly in 2 and 3. AL puts up 2 on a double by Dan Powell and also goes scoreless the next 2 innings. Brian Wrigley blasts a solo HR and Jason Dickerson also hits a HR for 2. Bottom 4, AL bats around for 5, with 3 coming in on a Shawn Hines HR. SOP bats around in the fifth, plating 6, with big help from a HR by Doug Roberts. Bottom 5, AL adds 3. SOP go scoreless in 6 and AL adds 1 for the lead. AL can't make anything happen in 7. AL wins, 11-10.

Game 2: Benchwarmers v American Legion

A Hine HR bats in 3 to start for AL. BW respond in kind with a Rich Hunter HR for 3. AL adds 3 in 2. BW add 4 more, with another 3 RBI HR by Hunter. AL doesn't score in 3 and BW add 2. AL adds 4 in the 4th, chipping away on singles. Bottom 4, Hunter hits a solo HR. AL bats around in the 5th and is able to add 5. Two score for BW. Top 6, a Dan Powell HR brings in 3, Bottom 6, BW are able to add one, but it is not enough. AL wins, 18-13.

Game 3: Nine Inch Males v Benchwarmers

BW starts with a bang, when 3 score for them, with 2 on a Hunter HR. NIM do not score. Two more cross the plate for BW. A double by Mike Schutt brings in 2 for NIM in the 2nd. Top 3, BW add 3 to their lead. NIM do not score. Back to back HRs by Hunter and Rob Tompkinson add 3 more for BW.
Bottom 4, a grand slam Jimmy Lewis adds 4 and keeps NIM competitive. BW nearly bat around in 5 and add 5 to their lead. Bottom 5, NIM don't score. Once more crosses in the 6th for BW. Another Jimmy Lewis HR brings in 2 for NIM. Top 7, BW add one more for good measure. NIM try to make a run for it and add 2, but fall short. BW win, 18-10.
