Game One: Sons of Pitches @ Generals
Sons of Pitches would come into this game shorthanded, playing with only 9. But that would prove not be a much of a barrier. They'd bat around in the 1st, with batters 1-6 all getting on base, they'd plate 6. The Generals would go scoreless until the 4th, when John Fink would drive in Chris Forester and Justin Hager. SofP's would go on another monster streak, scoring 10 more behind an array of singles and doubles. Trevor Harris and Time Frei would both hit 2 singles in the inning. This one ends early after 5 innings, Sons of Pitches defeats The Generals, 21-6.

Player of the Game: Doug Roberts - Sons of Pitches, 5-5, 4 runs, 4 RBIs, & hit for the cycle.

Game two: Kobra Kai @ Dirty Dozen
Kobra Kai would only score in 3 of the innings in this one, but it would prove to be enough as D12 would only muster 6 total runs. D12's 11th batter, John Aiken would go 3-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI, but it wouldn't be enough. KK would post 14 in the first 2 innings. In those 2 innings, Sam Plaugher would hit a single, double, and a triple, scoring all three at-bats, and driving in 2 more. Steve Reed would also go 3-3, score twice, and drove in 2. KK would tack on a 4 more in the 6th, behind a 2-run homer from Mike Fischer. KK defeats D12, 18-6.

Player of the Game: Sam Plaugher - Kobra Kai, 4-5, 4 RBIs, 4 runs scored.

Game three: Misfits @ American Legion
American Legion would get a 2 run homer in the 2st to tie the game at 2. Jake Engleman would drive another in for AL in the 2nd, to grab a 1 run lead. In the 4th, The Misfits would answer with 6 runs. 4 singles, a double, and then a 3-run homer by Jimmy Snyder put the Misfits up 8-3. In the bottom of the 4th, AL answered with 4 of their own, behind singles by Shawn Hines, Dan Powell, Kyle Morrow, Dave Fehr, and Jake Engleman. AL would add 7 more over the final 2 innings - featuring a 3-run shot by Brian Wrigley. American Legion defeats The Misfits, 14-11.

Player of the Game: Brian Wrigley - American Legion, 2-3, HR, 4 RBI's, 2 runs scored.

Shout out to scorekeeper, Fern. In the words of Billy Joel, "Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes." For now it's goodbye... until next week!
