American Legion @ Dirty Dozen
American Legion came out hot with the first 6 batters all scoring on 6 singles, a double, and a walk. Mike Skrzat and Wilson Miller would each drive in 2 a piece. D12 would answer in the bottom of the first with 5 of their own behind a 3-run homer by Cody Nash and a 2-run homer from Justin O'Brien. But that would be it for D12 until the 7th. AL would get a homer from Jake Engleman in the 3rd, and a solo shot from Dan Powell and Brian Wrigley (back to back) in the 7th. D12 escapes with an 11-10 vicotry.

Player of the Game: Justin O'Brien - Dirty Dozen,4-4, 3 runs, 5 RBIs, 3 HRs

Game two: Sons of Pitches @ Misfits
Sons of Pitches spread out 19 runs over 5 innings. 2 HR's for Doug Roberts, 4 runs scores by Ray Filewicz, and three each for Trevor Harris and Bob Stanley paced SofP's. The Misfits would get a nice set of at bats from Chris Triolo (3/4 with a homer) and a 4-4 night from Jim Carden. But it would only net them 11 runs. A 6 run 2nd inning and a 5 run 7th by SofP's outpaced the Misfits.

Player of the Game: Doug Roberts - Sons of Pitches, 4-5, 7 RBIs, 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 2 HRs.

Game three: Kobra Kai @ The Generals
Kobra Kai scores 3 in the first behind a Jake Haber 2-run homer. The Generals wouldn't answer until the 4th inning, when John Muniz drove in Adam Gingerich. KK would explode for 10 in the 3rd with an array of singles, doubles, triples, and a 2-run homer by Tyler Gower. KK would tack on 2 more and The Generals found some life in the 6th scoring 4 runs. Chris Forester got that run started with an inning opening triple.

Player of the Game: Matty Poust - Kobra Kai, 4-4, 2 runs, 1 triple, 2 RBIs.

Shout out to scorekeeper, Fern. In the words of Billy Joel, "Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes." For now it's goodbye... until next week!
