Game 1 - Dirty Dozen @ Misfits
D12 opened the game with 3 scoreless innings... offensively. They'd score 2 runs in the 4th (2 run homer from Ryan McGraw) and 2 more in the 5th (2 run homer from Justin O'Brien). But that's all they'd get tonight. The Misfits would also start slow, with a scoreless 1st and 2nd. But then the flood gates would open. 6 in the 3rd, 8 in the 4th, and 5 more for good measure in the 5th. 19 total runs, not 1 homeroom. The Misfits would get a 3-hit outing from Chris Triolo, Randy Helsman, Tony Cabot, Tim Caldwell, Mike Shutt, Bob Grosch, & Joe Schneidinger. Misfits take down Dirty Dozen 19-2.

Player of the Game - Randy Helsman - Misfits - 3/3, 3 RBIs, 2 doubles, 2 runs scored.

Game 2 - Kobra Kai @ Sons of Pitches
Jake Haber starts off the 1st inning with a 2 run shot, scoring leadoff hitter, Matty Poust. Haber would strike again in the 5th with an RBI triple. 3 batters later, Tyler Gower would power out a 3-run homer to post Kobra Kai's 10th run of the game. Sons of Pitches answered with 3 runs in the 1st, each posted by the first 3 batters (Trevor Harris, Ray Filewicz, & Doug Roberts). They'd add 2 more in the 3rd, and 4 in the 4th behind a series of singles, doubles, and errors. Roberts would score for the 3rd time of the night, getting SofP's to 9 total runs after 4. But the well dried up, and no more runs would cross home plate. Kobra Kai defeats Sons of Pitches 10-9.

Player of the Game - Tyler Gower - Kobra Kai - 3-3 ,3 runs scored, 3 RBIs, 1 HR, 1 double.

Game 3 - Generals @ American Legion
The Generals scored 3 in the first and 3 in the 7th. They'd mix in 2 more in the 3rd for a total of 8. Rich Austin scored once and would drive in 3. John Muniz would go 3-3 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. But would that be enough to hold off The Legion? Not so much. Wilson Miller and Mike Gallo would each hit 2-run homers. AL would post 6 runs in the 4th inning alone. The bottom of the order (Tom Barnes, Mike Gallo, Tom Gallo) would go 6 for 10 - 3 RBIs, 5 runs scored, and 1 homer. American Legion defeats the Generals 15-8.

Player of the Game - Mike Gallo - American Legion - 3-4, 2 RBIs, 1 HR, 3 runs scored.

Shout out to scorekeeper, Fern. In the words of Billy Joel, "Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes." For now it's goodbye... until next week!
