In an effort to give the A Division finalists (top team in each league) a fair number of games, a Home Team Game was added to the week before the 2/3 finals. In the Home Team Game, the #1 seed in the AL and the #1 seed in the NL will play a single game to determine home team in Games 1 and 3 of the finals. The 2 teams will then move to the 2/3 A Division Championship the following week.
