Game 1: Misfits vs. Vertex

Matt Schaub blasts a two run homer for Vertex in the bottom of the first. Matt Schaub rips a run scoring double for Vertex in the bottom of the second. Vertex plates three runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles. The Misfits get no the board in the top of the fifth with four runs on singles. The Misfits get another run in the top of the sixth. Vertex tops the Misfits, 12-5.

Game 2: Doom Cats vs. One Hit Wonders

A leadoff double by Rob Gisondi nets OHW a run in the bottom of the second. DC gets on the board with two runs in the top of the third. Paul Ferozzi, Jr. rips a run scoring triple for OHW in the bottom of the third. OHW puts up five runs in the bottom of the fourth with doubles by Jesse Grasso, Dave Ketterliaus, and Jack Stepnowski. A leadoff double by Chris Hackney leads to a run for DC in the top of the fifth. OHW answers with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. The One Hit Wonders top the Doom Cats, 9-3.

Game 3: Silverbacks vs. Ballz Deep

The Silverbacks bat around in the top of the first to score nine runs don walks, singles, and doubles by Craig Richards, Ian Cuozzo, and Joe Maul. BD answers with five runs in the bottom of the first on singles. The Silverbacks get three more runs in the top of the third thanks to triples by Carlos Gonzalez and Joe Maul. BD gets another run in the bottom of the fourth. The Silverbacks plate four runs in the top of the fifth with a two run triple by Ian Cuozzo. The Silverbacks bat around in the top of the sixth to push five runs across on singles. The Silverbacks beat down Ballz Deep, 22-6.

Game 4: Pigeon Boyz vs. Maggios

PB gets on the board with a run in the top of the first. Maggios bats around in the bottom of the first to score seven runs on walks and doubles by Phil Bandini and Jim Ulmer. Mike Bitterlich blasts a two run homer for PB in the top of the third. Five runs cross the plate for Maggios in the bottom of the third with a two run double by Kurt Hahn. Mike Bitterlich jacks a grand slam for PB in the top of the fourth. Maggios tops the Pigeon Boyz, 13-10.

Game 1: E’s Irish Pub vs.Sons of Pitches

Jeremy Vilano and Mark Kennedy blast back to back homers for EIP in the top of the first. SOP answers with five runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a bases loaded triple by Dylan Brooks. EIP scores six runs in the top of the second thanks to a two run triple by Bob Worthington, and a Jeremy Vilano two run homer. A Paul Elliott triple and a double by Dylan Brooks nets SOP two runs in the bottom of the second. Mark Kennedy blasts a two run homer for EIP in the top of the fifth. SOP manages to get three more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Sons of Pitches squeaks by E’s Irish Pub, 12-11.

Game 2: Pitches Be Crazy vs. Sons of Pitches

PBC bats around in the top of the first to score six runs on singles, and a three run double by Joe Carney. Singles give SOP three runs in the bottom of the first. Zach Lyall launches a two run homer fro PBC in the top of the second. PBC puts up five runs in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Joe Carney and Brandon Brittingham, and another Zach Lyall two run homer. SOP bats around in the bottom of the fourth to plate eight runs on errors and singles. SOP pushes four runs across in the bottom of the fifth on singles. SOP scores two more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Sons of Pitches out slugs Pitches Be Crazy, 17-16.

Game 3: Pitches Be Crazy vs. Lost Boyz

PBC bats around in the top of the first to score six runs on walks and singles. Pete Corrin smashes a two run homer for LB in the bottom of the first. Harry Steglich jacks a three run homer for LB in the bottom of the second. PBC get another three runs in the top of the third. Walks and singles lead to four runs for PBC in the top of the fifth. Brandon and John A. rips run scoring triples for PBC in the top of the sixth. Pitches Be Crazy beat down Lost Boyz, 21-6.

Lukens III

Game 4: Spartans vs. Maggios

Maggios scores five runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by Eric Schwabb, and a Dan Wesmuller triple. Maggios bats around in the bottom of the fourth to put up six runs with homers by Mike Tersha and Alex Heller. Maggios plates two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to end this one early. The Spartans leave their bats at home. Maggios shuts out the Spartans, 15-0.

Doyle

Game 3: Sticky Bandits vs. Legends

SB scores a run in the top of the first. Legends answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Legends bats around in the bottom of the second to push eight runs across on walks, singles, and doubles by Jimmy Beameinter and Dave Anderson. Legends gets another two runs in the bottom of the fourth. SP plates three runs in the top of the third on doubles by Colin Donohoe, Nick Ryan, Jake Houk, and Dominick Vanzant. SB puts up two runs on singles in the top of the sixth. Nick Lang smokes an RBI triple as three runs cross the plate for Legends in the bottom of the sixth. Legends takes down Sticky Bandits, 16-7.
