Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Nancy’s

HH plates four runs in the top of the first thanks to a leadoff triple by Jay Muir. HH adds two runs in the top of the third on singles. Nancy’s gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth. A leadoff triple by Keith Keppley nets HH two runs in the top of the fifth. Singles help HH put up two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Doubles by James McLaughlin and Gary Thompson help HH score three runs in the top of the sixth. A leadoff double by Gene Walczak gets Nancy’s two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Hagan’s Heroes tops Nancy’s, 12-5.

Game 2: Nancy’s vs. Go Roostr

Jarrett Kerns rips a two run double for Nancy’s in the top of the first. Jason Ashworth blasts a two run homer for GR in the bottom of the first. GR plates four runs in the bottom of the third thanks to back to back to back doubles by Bill Thomas, Kevin Roche, and Jason Ashworth. Three runs cross the plate for Nancy’s in the top of the fourth. GR bats around in the bottom of the fifth to get eight runs with a three run triple by Kevin Roche, and another Jason Ashworth two run homer. Back to back doubles by Gene Walczak and Jarrett Kerns net Nancy’s three runs in the top of the sixth. GR adds four runs in the bottom of the sixth. Go Roostr beats Nancy’s, 19-11.

Game 3: Richies Too vs. Go Roostr

A double by Tom Koelzer helps RT get two runs in the top of the first. Singles led to three runs for GR in the bottom of the first. Six runs cross the plate for RT in the top of the third with doubles by Tom Koelzer and Rich Stead. GR picks up six runs in the bottom of the third thanks to singles, and doubles by Rob Lyons and Bill Thomas. Singles net GR three runs in the bottom of the fifth. RT scores two more runs in the top of the sixth thanks to a double by Doug Moninghoff. GR walks off in the bottom of the seventh on a Jason Ashworth sac fly. Go Roostr takes down Richies Too in dramatic fashion, 13-12.
