Game #1 – Bry-Lex vs. Roos

Roo’s breaks out in the first inning for three runs off a homer from Jeremy Villano. Bry Lex responds and gets a homer of their own from Carl Peteti. Roos bust out a bigg inning in the second scoring a whopping seven runs. Jake Blum smashed a three run bomb while Frank Fusca added an RBI double. Bry-Lex gets going again in the fourth with a three run bomb off the bat of Bryce Bundy as he tries to keep them in the game. Villano strikes again for Roos in the fourth with a two run bomb as Roos continue to score every inning and increase their lead. Roos push across eight more runs in the fifth and sixth and will win this one easy. Roos win 21-7.

Player of the Game:
Jeremey Villano (Roos) – 5/5, 2 HR’s, 6 RBI’s




Game #2 – Chapman vs. The Maize

Chapman comes out of the gates swinging with a Sean Hill RBI single followed by a Gean Ruzzi two run single later in the inning. Eric Wiley helps to add two more runs in the following innings with an RBI single. Chapman continue to score a couple runs every inning as they continue to swing the bats well. Hill was back at it again in the fourth with a two run triple while Moninghoff and Ruzzi also add RBI singles. Dan Vescovi does his best to help get Maize back into the game with an RBI single as well as Sam Altmiller. Chapman put this game away in the sixth exploding for another six runs. Kayla Hill, Jesse Mancini and James Witkowski all add RBI singles in the inning.

Gean Ruzzi (Chapman) – 3/4, 3 RBI’s




Game #3 – The Maize vs. Pitches Be Trippin

Maize looks to get started off a bit earlier in this one and net one run off a Sam Altmiller fielder’s choice. Fielder’s choice grab the lead in the bottom of the inning. Conor Pierce and Nick Libutti each have RBI doubles in the inning. Pitches get three more runs in the next inning in part thanks to a Mikayla Gallagher two run single. The Maize get two runs back on a two run bomb off the bat of Gary Kleinschmidt. The homers must be contagious in this one as a batter later, Pierce goes deep for Pitches, this one being a three run bomb as he continues to do well for Pitches. Pitches add four more runs late as Maize continue to struggle as this one will end in Pitches favor. Pitches win 14-4.
