Game #1 – Whole Lot of Mott’s vs. Dug Out Demons

Motts get rolling with four runs out of the gate. Kevin Motts and CJ Motts both had RBI singles in the inning. Demons respond with three runs in the bottom of the inning on a three run bomb from Pat Kelly. Jon Motts gets three runs back on a homer of his own in the second as Motts take the lead. CJ Motts then smashes a solo shot of his own. Home runs continue for Motts in the third with CJ Motts going deep again, this time another two run homer. Jon Motts adds a two run double as Motts lead 14-3 heading into the bottom of the third. Keith Keppley gets the scoring started for Demons with a two run triple, following by an RBI triple from Jake Haber. Kelley smashes another homer, this time a two run homer as Demons get within three runs after a big third inning. Home runs continue to be the trend in this game as CJ Motts goes yard for the third time in the fifth inning as well as Charlie Hooker for Demons. Hooker smashes another homer in the seventh as Demons tries to win this one late. Demons get to within one run in the last inning, but would end up falling just short. Motts win 20-19.

Game #2 – Whole Lot of Mott’s vs. Pitches Be Trippin

Motts get rolling again early in their second game of the night with five runs right out of the gate. CJ Motts continues to swing a red hot bat with a two run home run in the inning. More of the same in the second as Motts net six more runs. Singles and an RBI double from Greg Reilly helped to pace the inning. Carl Motts smashes a solo shot in the fourth as Motts continue to rely on the long ball today. Pitches continue to struggle as they net only five runs across the first five innings. Mott’s blow up and bat around in the fifth as they roll big in this one. Larissa M had a two run double in the inning and CJ Motts add another bomb, his fifth on the day, this one knocking in four runs. Motts win 28-5.

Game #3 – Roos vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Roos come out swinging with a run on a RBI double from Jeremy Villano. Jake Blum knocks in two runs on an RBI single a couple of batters later. Sluggers get a couple of runs back in the bottom of the inning with an RBI double from Tom Koezler. Sluggers have a big second inning and take the lead on five runs scored. Jake Seymour had the big hit in the inning with a grand slam. The home runs continue on this beautiful night as both teams homer in the third. Villano smashes a two run bomb for Roos and Axel smashes a two run bomb for Sluggers. A couple of innings go by without any runs as Sluggers lead 11-7. Koezler knocks in two more runs on another double in the sixth as they lock in down defensively and win this one. Sluggers win 13-7.

Game #4 – Roos vs. Carroll’s Jewelers

Villano gets Roos started off fast in the last game of the night with a two run bomb. Paige D also added an RBI single a couple of batters later as they lead 4-0. Villano strikes again in the second with another bomb, this time a two run shot. Tom Montvydas also added a two run double in the inning. Chris Lansberry smashes a two run triple in the top of the third to increase the Roos lead to 12-0. Carroll’s finally get on the board in the fifth getting five big runs. Steve DiGiovanni helped the cause with a two run single. Roos seem to have too much firepower for Carroll’s tonight tho, as Villano goes deep for the third time in the game, smashing another homer. Roos win 18-8.
