Game 1: Vertex vs. Silverbacks

Back to back doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Steve Heath net Vertex a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the first to get eight runs on singles, and doubles by Jamal Covington and DJ Ellars. Bill Brancato jacks a solo homer for Vertex in the top of the second. Ed O’Neill rips a two run double for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the third. Vertex scores four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Steve Heath, Dan Cymerman, and a Matt Schaub two run triple. Iri Silverstein blasts a solo homer for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth. Vertex bats around again in the top of the sixth to plate four runs with a two run homer by Matt Schaub. Sean Nonemacher and Matt Schaub jack solo homers for Vertex in the top of the seventh. The Silverbacks tie the game in the bottom of the seventh with a run. DJ Ellars rips the game winning run for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the eighth. The Silverbacks walk it off against Vertex in eight innings, 13-12.

Game 2: Silverbacks vs. Dirty Dozen

The Silverbacks get on the board with a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks add three runs in the top of the second with a Rich Beck double. Jake M smashes a two run homer for the Silverbacks in the top of the third. Three runs cross the plate in the top of the fifth for the Silverbacks thanks to an RBI double by DJ Ellars. DD gets on the board in the bottom of the fifth with a run. Singles lead to three runs for DD in the bottom of the sixth. DD rallies in the bottom of the seventh for eight runs thanks to doubles by Sean Taylor, Mike Ivers, and Connie G, and a Ross Anderson two run homer. The Silverbacks beat Dirty Dozen, 16-12.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Dirty Dozen

A double by Sean Taylor helps DD plate a run in the bottom of the first. DC bats around in the top of the second to score nine runs on walks and singles. Singles and a two run homer by Frank Fusca nets DD six runs in the bottom of the third. Zach Martin jacks a three run homer for DC in the top of the fourth. Walks and doubles by Jose Rodriguez and Matt Hatch net DC four runs in the top of the fifth. DD picks up three runs in the bottom of the fifth on singles. DC bats around in the top of the sixth to pick up TWELVE runs with homers by Zach Martin and Jon Poore. The Doom Cats smash Dirty Dozen, 28-10.

Game 4: Pigeon Boyz vs. Doom Cats

Brandon Birkhead jacks a three run homer for PB in the top of the first. Jose Rodriguez rips a leadoff homer for DC in the bottom of the first. Doubles by Careror Komonstak and Adam Weltz nets PB three runs in the top of the second. Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for PB in the top of the fourth. DC bats around in the bottom of the fifth to plate five runs on walks, singles, and a solo homer by Zach Martin. Adam Weltz smokes a two run homer for PB in the top of the seventh. DC rallies in the bottom of the seventh to score six runs with a two run triple by Jose Rodriguez. Walks and singles help PB add four runs in the top of the eighth. DC answers with two runs in the bottom of the eighth thanks to an RBI double by Matt Hatch. The Pigeon Boyz out slug the Doom Cats in extra innings, 17-15.

Lukens III

Game 1: Sticky Bandits vs. Lucky Dog

LD takes the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first. Singles net LD two runs in the bottom of the second. Triples by Tim Frei, Andy Snyder, and Bob Stanley lead to five runs for LD in the bottom of the third. SB gets on the board in the top of the fourth with three runs thanks to an RBI double by John Misch. SB puts up seven runs in the top of the fifth with a two run triple by Vamar Marwa. An RBI triple by Tim Frei helps LD get three runs in the bottom of the fifth. Tim Frei rips the game winning single for LD in the bottom of the sixth. Lucky Dog walks it off against Sticky Bandits, 12-11.

Game 2: Sticky Bandits vs. Naturals

SB gets an early lead with a run in the top of the first. SB bats around in the top of the second to plate nine runs on singles, and doubles by Jarrod Ennis and Kaz Kelly. The Naturals get on the board in the bottom of the second with two runs, courtesy of an RBI triple by Andrew Masciantonio. Geoff Faden smokes a two run double for the Naturals in the bottom of the third. Jarrod Ennis blasts an RBI triple for SB in the top of the fourth. Singles net SB seven runs in the top of the fifth. Partha Patel jacks a three run homer for the Naturals in the bottom of the fifth as five runs come in. The Sticky Bandits take down the Naturals, 20-9.

Game 3: Web Gems vs. Naturals

WG scores four runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Andrew Alexander and Eric Adiletto. Back to back doubles by Matt Quinn and Miles Munz net the Naturals three runs in the bottom of the first. Harry Steglich rip a two run double for WG in the top of the second. Geoff Faden smokes a two run double for the Naturals in the bottom of the third. Triples by Anderew Alexander and Justin Mahmde, and an Arik Fenton two run homer net WG five runs in the top of the fourth. Sanka Kapadia blasts a three run homer for the Naturals in the bottom of the fourth. WG plates six runs in the top of the fifth thanks to walks, and doubles by Ryan Legeckas and Joe Ferrell. The Web Gems beat down the Naturals, 23-8.

Game 4: Hitmen vs. Mud Dogs

The Hitmen pick up two runs in the top of the first. Back to back doubles by Brian Figueroa and Matt Figueroa help MD plate two runs in the bottom of the first. Walks and a double by Mike Burns lead to four runs for the Hitmen in the top of the second. Chris Refsnider blasts a solo homer for MD in the bottom of the second. The Hitmen bat around in the top of the third to pick up nine runs with a three run homer by Nick Lang. MD adds two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Nick Lang smashes a two run homer for the Hitmen in the top of the sixth. The Hitmen take care of the Mud Dogs, 19-5.

Game 2: D & A Electric vs. Broad St Bullies

BSB bats around in the bottom of the first to get seven runs thanks to a three run homer by Jesse Faller, and a Jaden Newman grand slam. DAE scores two runs in the top of the second. Four runs cross the plate for DAE in the top of the third on doubles by Austin Sher and Tyler Fornwah, and triples by Kevin Walker and Kenny Goodwin. Kevin Walker jacks a two run homer for DAE in the top of the fourth. BSB scores four runs in the bottom of the fourth on back to back doubles by Rob Worthington and Jesse Faller, and a Nick Pigott two run homer. DAE picks up seven runs in the top of the fifth with a grand slam by Jared Katz. DAE adds two runs in the top of the sixth. BSB pushes three runs across in the bottom of the sixth. D & A Electric out slugs Broad St Bullies, 19-15.
