Game #1 – Mot-Ley Crew vs. Dug Out Demons

Demons get an early Pat Kelly two run bomb to give them the early nod in this game. Defense shuts down the next inning before Demons explode for eight runs. Keith Keppley starts the scoring with an RBI single followed by a Rob Lyons two run double. PK then smashes a two run bomb a batter later to help round out the inning with a 10-0 lead. Crew get some runs back in the fourth off a Jon Motts two run single and a Carl Motts RBI single. Crew get going again in the fifth, this time with singles and errors. Jaker Haber adds an insurance run on an RBI single which sends to the sixth. Evan Porter, Dan Geiger and Tom Finn knock in a run on RBI singles and Jon Duchette knocks in a run on a sac fly. Crew come up just short and they will fall in this one. Demons win 11-10.

Game #2 – Dug Out Demons vs. Roos

Demons look to get rolling again in their second game, but come out slow not scoring until the second inning. Greta Sheridan starts it with an RBI single followed by a two run single from Ron Bannister. Demons get three more runs in the fourth thanks to Ben Razzi and Brittany Ulman hits as they lead 6-0. Villano answers for Roos in the bottom of the inning getting two runs on a two run bomb from Jeremy Villano as he tries to keep them in this. Demons really blow up in the sixth, this time scoring seven runs. Pat Kelly came up big again smashing a bases clearing single and really driving a wedge in this one for Roos. Roos grab two more runs, but they will fall in this one.

Game #3 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Knuckleheads

Sluggers get going right out of the gate with five runs. Tom Koezler starts the scoring with an RBI double while Noah, Kate and Steph all get RBI’s in the inning as well. Knuckleheads get four runs back in the bottom of the inning with a grand slam. This would be short lived for Knuckleheads as they would look to struggle for the rest of the game. Sluggers would continue to grab a couple of runs every inning grabbing six runs across the third, fourth and fifth inning. Axel had the big shot with a two run bomb in the fourth. Sluggers completely take this one over in the sixth, batting around three times in the inning and score 17. The inning was highlighted by Steph and her three singles and three RBI’s and Koezlers two run bomb. Sluggers roll easy in this one. Sluggers win 28-5.

Game #4 – Complete Liquidators vs. Wehrung

Liquidators get started with a sac fly from Nick DiPalo and RBI double from Carl P. They end up with four runs in the inning before they set their sights on playing tight defense. Homers from Charlie Kelly and Scott Carroll net the Liquidators two more runs. Wehrungs finally get on the board in this one from a Wyatt S two run triple and sac fly from Luke H. Liquidators get right back to work in the fifth, this time batting around and scoring eight runs. Carl P stayed hot at the plate with a two run triple, which Kelly scored one on a triple of his own. Scott Carroll goes deep again in the sixth as Liquidators hold off in this one. Liquidators win 15-5.
