Game #1 – Wehrungs vs. Chapman

Wehrungs start the scoring with a Wyatt Schilling RBI single. This then setup an RBI double from Luke Hendricks and back to back RBI singles from Bailey Keebler and Lowell Snyder. Chapman answers in the bottom of the inning with a three run bomb off the bat of Doug Moninghoff. Chapman tie this game in the second after getting an RBI single from Jessie Mancini. Luke Hendricks give Wehrungs a brief lead with a solo bomb, but that is answered in the bottom of the inning from a Sean Hill solo homer. Chapman jump out to a two run lead in the fourth after a two run double from Mancini, but this time Hendricks answers with a two run bomb in the fifth for Wehrungs. Chapman get going big time in the sixth as they get an RBI single from Eric Wiely and back to back two run hits from Mancini and Gene Ruzzi to take a five run lead. They go out and hold down the away team in the seventh as they take this one late. Chapman wins 12-7.

Game #2 – Wackers vs. Chapman

Wackers come out looking to take out Chapman after their win in the previous win. Mike Ivers gets Wackers on the board with a sac fly. Dan Vescovi then nets Wackers another run in the second on an RBI single. Cody Miller gets Chapman a run back on an RBI single. Wackers explode for seven runs in the third. Alex Freeman starts the scoring with a three run bomb, followed by RBI doubles from Jimmy McHale and Vescovi. Homers continue to pace the scoring for Wackers with Freeman hitting another one and Kyle Simonye smashing a solo bomb. Wackers grab three runs across the fifth and sixth which sets up a big seventh inning. Wackers grab six more runs in the seventh thanks to back to back two run doubles from Matt Bookheimer and Ivers. Freeman also stayed hot at the plate with an RBI double Wackers roll easy. Wackers win 21-2.

Game #3 – Wackers vs. Rock and Rebel

Wackers keep rolling right into the next game with five runs. Freeman smashes a three run bomb keeping up right where he left off in the previous game. Vescovi and Rich Stead also added RBI singles in the inning. Rebel responds with three runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Erik Stalford and Bobby Citrino knock in back to back RBI singles in the inning. Wackers get rolling right back in the second with an RBI triple from Freeman and RBI singles from Simonye and Stead. Freeman keeps it rolling as he explodes on the day smashes three run homers in the third inning and fourth inning as Wackers really pull away in the one. Wackers continue to play well on defense and continue to add runs late in this one as they will win this one easy, their second of the day. Wackers win 19-7.
