Game #1 – Altek vs. Roos

Roos strike first getting three runs out of the gate on a Hannah Jimenez RBI double, Frank Fusca RBI triple and Jordan Jimenez RBI single. Altek match that and grab an extra run in the second. Kevin Cwilda starts the scoring for altek followed by a Justin Morris RBI single. Later in the inning, Mark Bower and Linda Luscombe add RBI singles. Roos get rolling again in the bottom of the second, with RBI singles from Kayla Diamond, Chris Lansberry, Fusca and Jimenez. Roos start up again in the third, with four more runs. Jake Blum gets into the action with an RBI single while Lansberry strikes again with two more runs. Altek continue to stay around in this one, getting two runs in the fifth and sixth while a two run double from Ben Volpe and RBI singles from Tony Luizza and Linda Luscombe. Roos would end up holding out in this one, getting a late three run bomb off that bat of Jake Blum. Roos win 18-12.

Game #2 – Sluggers vs. Total Liquidators


Sluggers come out firing getting four runs on RBI singles from Kyle Rizzi, Krysta Wellington and Tyler as well as a sac fly from Tom Koezler. Liquidators got two runs back on a Charlie Kelly RBI single and an error. Liquidators get back two more runs on a Scott Carroll RBI single and Kelly sac fly. Sluggers struggle for a couple of innings before the break out again in the fifth. Nonny gets it rolling with a two run double followed by an RBI double from Jarret Kerns. Kozeler keeps on his fly ball rate and knocks in another run on a sac fly. Sluggers put this game away late with nine more runs across the last two innings. Tyler smashes a solo bomb and Axel gets into the home run game with a two run bomb of his own. Koezler also nets more runs with a two run double as they walk away with a win. Sluggers win 19-6.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Total Liquidators


Demons look to start up fast and they do in a big way. Pat Kelly starts it with an RBI single along with RBI singles from Ben Razzi, Phil Black, Britt Ulman and Mandi Sheehan as well as a two run double from Marissa Alpugh. Charlie Hooker also smashes a two run bomb in the inning. Liquidators are able to get one run back on a fielder’s choice from Charlie Kelly. Demons score one run in the second before getting back on it in the third inning. Hooker was back at it again with a two run double followed by a two run homer off the bat of Kelly. Alpaugh also added another run on an RBI double later in the inning. This game is all Demons as they run away with it. Demons win 21-5.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Mott-Ley Crew

The last game of the night gets started with an RBI single off the bat of Brandon Birkhead. Crew responds in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own on a Kaelyn Motts RBI triple and Jon Motts sac fly. Crew doubles their lead in the second with RBI singles from Amanda Bradley and Larissa Motts. Knuckleheads get three more runs in the third thanks to a Jimmy Craig two run double, Jose Rodriguez sac fly and Birksmith RBI triple. Crew grab the lead in the fourth after a very good bottom half of the inning. Greg Rielly knocked in a run with a double and Carl Motts added a sac fly. Back and forth we go as Knuckleheads grab three more runs in the fifth inning. Birksmith strikes again, this time with a three run dinger to bring them to within three runs. Crew add some insurance runs with a Jon Motts two run single later in the inning as they will hold off Knuckleheads late and win this one. Mott-Ley Crew win 14-7.
