Game One: Dirty Dozen @ Cobra Kai
D12 totally dominated the Kai tonight. This one would only go 5 innings as D12 put up 27 runs. Anthony Izzi would score 4 times, as would Joe Murray. Justin O’Brien would hit two 2-run big flies. Murray would go yard too - his a 3-run shot. Cobra Kai got homers from Jake Haber and Rob Thomkinson, but only saw 8 runs cross the plate. D12 defeats Cobra Kai, 27-8.

Player of the Game: Joe Murray, Dirty Dozen, 3 for 3, BB, HR, 5 RBIs, 4 runs scored, double.

Game Two: Cobra Kai @ Cannoneers
The Kai were held to 1 run over the opening 4 innings. In the 5th, things would open up as the first 6 Kai batters would cross the plate on 8 singles and a sac fly. In that same span, the Cannoneers would only scratch out 5 runs. Mike Banes and Brian Wrigley each would hit four-baggers. Up 7-5, the Kai wouldn’t see another baserunner the rest of the game. The Cannoneers would get 3 in the 6th, grabbing an 8-7 lead off Wrigley’s 2nd bomb of the game. Cannoneers defeat Cobra Kai, 8-7.

Player of the Game: Brian Wrigley, Cannoneers - 2 for 3, 2 HRs, 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored.

Game Three: Cannoneers @ Generals
The Cannoneers struggle in the first, but come out blazing hot in the 2nd. 11 out of 12 Cannoneers score in the 2nd inning. Shawn Hines, Wilson Miller, & Brian Wrigley each would go yard on their way to posting 20 runs. Generally speaking, scoring 5 against the Cannoneers won’t be enough to win - and it wasn’t on this night either. Chris Forrester would hit a solo dinger - and Scott Coleman would score twice for the Generals. Cannoneers defeat the Generals, 20 - 5.

Player of the Game: Brian Wrigley - Cannoneers - 3 for 4, HR, 6 RBIs, 2 runs scored.

***Shout out to scorekeeper, Fern. In the words of Billy Joel, "Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes." For now it's goodbye... until next week!
