Game One: Wire 2 Wire v. King’s Corner

Jordan Vanenton had himself a night with 5 hits in as many at bats. Scored twice and drove in 7. Bill Walker drove in 3 more and Vinnie Dinnecenzo scored 4 times on a walk and three hits. W2W scored 13.
For the Kings, Jarrett Kerns and John Erb with nice games each getting 4 hits and scoring 4 times. They went back-to-back in the 3rd inning with Jarrett smashing a 2-run shot and Erb with the solo flex. Both drove in 4. King’s Corner held off W2W, 15-13.


Game Two: Cannons v. Team Horsham

Cannons waited until the 5th inning to really get going. Jay S tripled home two runs ans doubles by Brandon Parker and Andrew Frat helped the team reach 6 runs.
But this game was all Horsham. 8 runs in the 1st, 6 in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th and 5th inning led to a 21-6 blowout. Brian McEachern was a triple short of the cycle in 4 AB’s while scoring 3 and driving in 3.

Game Three: Philly Junk v. Beers

As the story goes for PJ, long balls are plenty. Mike Bitterlick got two of them as did Evan Porter. Justin Miller had 5 hits and Brandon Bozek had 4 hits including 2 triples.
Beers scored 3 in the 2nd inning and 4 more in the 3rd. Scott Runzer and Josh Goldberg both hit 2-run homers in the 3rd…but the offense went to sleep after. They lose big 29-7.


Game Four: Just Food v. Dookie Brewster

Just Food got JUST 3 runs in the 1st inning when Corey Eyerman doubled home 2 and Roberto Guzman tripled home 1. They managed just 3 hits the rest of the way.
For the Brewster crew, Jon Poore homered in the 2nd and 5th innings, James McLaughlin homered in the 2nd and Axel Alicea homered in the 3rd. Team finished with 21 and destroyed the Food boys by 15.
