Game #1 – Demons vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Charlie Hooker gets this chip rolling with a solo bomb right out of the gate. Pat Kelly and Ryan Goodman follow that up with back to back RBI doubles and Jay Pane adds two more runs on a single. Crew respond with three runs in the bottom of the inning. CJ Motts delivers with a three run bomb deep over the fence. Crew ties the game up in the second with a Greg Reilly RBI single and sac fly from Kaelyn Motts. Demons get rolling again in the third, with four more runs, three coming off a big bomb from Pat Kelly. We go a couple innings without any action until we get to the fifth when Crew get two more runs. CJ Motts smashing a solo shot, his second of the game and Tom Finn knocks in a run with an RBI single. Crew get another four runs in the sixth. Evan Porter gets into the action with a two run single. Demons hold a one run lead heading into the seventh, but Demons quickly tie it up with a Mandi Sheehan fielder’s choice. Crew walk off game one on a Porter RBI single as they will take this and look to win one more for the chip. Crew win 12-11.

Game #2 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Demons

Crew get rolling just where they left off, pushing across six runs right out of the gate. Carl Motts nets two on a triple, while Jon Motts and Tom Finn have RBI single and double respectfully. Demons respond cutting the lead in half. Hooker gets a run on a deep sac fly while Bill Shallcross nets two runs on a single. Phil Black knocks in two runs on a single in the second to cut this game to one run. Demons strike big in the third, getting six runs. Hooker and Pat Kelly smash back to back homers while Marissa knocks in two on a big and timely triple. Greta Sheridan also nets a run on a sac fly. Demons lead by five heading into the fourth where Crew again strike back. Kaelyn Motts and CJ Motts both have an RBI in the inning. Both teams come out firing in the sixth. Crew starts it with four runs on a Rielly homer and RBI hits from Porter, Carl Morts and Jon Motts. Demons respond with four runs of their own and keep the lead. Hooker delivered a big blow again, an RBI double in the inning. Crew grabs one run in the bottom of the seventh, but it won’t be enough to get back into this one. Demons win 17-13.

Game #3 – Demons vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Crew slow down Demons in the top of the first and then open a 5-0 lead after getting an RBI double from Jon Motts, a Finn triple and a three run bomb from Porter. Demons quickly shake off that rust and get back to work in the second. They bat around and score nine. Homers paced the inning as Pat Kelly and Ryan Goodman hit solo shots and Ben Razzi knocks a three run bomb. Keith Keppley and Hooker also add RBI doubles in the inning. Crew respond in the bottom of the inning getting a three run bomb from CJ Motts and getting this game to within one run. Demons strike big again in the fourth with another five runs. Kelly was at it again knocking in two runs on a double making this a 16-10 game in favor of Demons. Crew get two more runs in the sixth, but are slowing down. Demons keep their feet on the peddle and continue to drive in runs. Shallcross nets a two run single in the sixth as they are pulling away. In the end, Demons are too much for Crew as they pull away and keep the lead. Demons win 22-12.
