Playoffs at the Quarry

Mott-Ley Crew vs. Dugout Demons

This heavy hitting matchup includes the two best teams that Monday night has to offer. Both teams finished with a 7-1 record, looking to add a title to their collections. Demons is let by MVP frontrunner Pat Kelly after his season of batting .947 with five homers and 17 RBI’s. The fiersome duo of Tom Koelzer and Krysta Wellington combined to add another 15 RBI’s, with Tom smashing three bombs into the quarry woods. Phil Black looks to take his team to another title, but has the fearsome collection of Motts looking to take the crown this spring. Greg Rielly set the pace for the team batting .862 allowing their power hitters to smash the ball deep into the woods with baserunners. Jeremy Villano lead the team with 23 RBI’s with 3 homers, with CJ Motts smashing three home runs. Jon Motts and Evan Porter both added two homers in the season as well. Good luck to both teams as this will sure be one to tune in for.

Playoffs at Hatfield

Knuckleheads vs. Wehrung’s

The B championship is going to offer up a very good matchup as well with both teams hitting their stride late in the season and into the playoffs. Wehrung’s struggled this season going 3-5, but really picked it up late in the season and had some late heroics in the playoffs. Luke Hendricks led this team with five homers and 18 RBI’s while Doug Moninghoff batted .645 in the leadoff spot with two homers. They are matched by Knuckleheads who had the more successful season at 5-3. Tom Newell lead the season batting .600 and knocking in 16 RBI’s, while Jaden Newman lead in the slugging department with one homer. Knuckleheads took care of their opponent easy in the playoffs and look to be the favorites in the championship series. Good Luck to both teams playing at Hatfield this week.
