Game 1: Man Bear Pigs vs. No Shows

MBQ get a run in the top of the first. NS gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second. A leadoff double by Casey Condon nets MBP two runs in the top of the third. NS scores five runs in the bottom of the third with a two run triple by Glenn Strattis. MBP plates two runs in the top of the fifth on singles. Derek Strowhouer smashes a solo homer for NS in the bottom of the fifth. MBP bat around in the top of the sixth to score seven runs thanks to singles, a two run double by Dan Vescovi, and a Craig Richards triple. Back to back RBI doubles by Will Schulz and Derek Strowhoeur lead to three runs for NS in the bottom of the sixth. Glenn Strattis wins it for NS with a walk off single. No Shows beats Man Bear Pigs in dramatic fashion, 13-12.

Game 2: Reap What You Sow vs. Monsters & Menthols

Singles get RWYS two runs in the top of the first. MAM answers with six runs in the bottom of the first thanks to singles and a Roc Akers double. Two runs cross the plate for RWYS in the top of the third. MAM scores five runs in the bottom of the third on RBI triples by Sean Nonemacher and Jim Lalley, and a Tom Koelzer three run homer. RWYS plates two runs in the top of the fifth. Jon Poore and Bill Brancato both jack homers for MAM in the bottom of the fifth. Monsters & Menthols smashes Reap What You Sow, 22-6.

Game 3: Dingelingers vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH takes the early lead in the bottom of the first to score four runs with an RBI triple by Keith Keppley. HH adds six runs in the bottom of the second on walks, singles, and a two run double by Phil Lipton. HH bats around in the bottom of the third to put up seven runs on a lot of singles. The Dingelingers get on the board in the top of the fourth with three runs thanks to an RBI triple by Matt M. Doubles by Jay Muir and Rick Totans finish this one early for HH in the bottom of the fourth. Hagan’s Heroes destroys the Dingelingers, 20-3.

Game 4: Smokin Bunts vs. Dingelingers

SB plates three runs in the top of the first. Walks net the Dingelingers two runs in the bottom of the first. Six runs cross the plate for SB in the top of the second with a three run triple by Derrick H. The Dingelingers bat around in the bottom of the second to plate seven runs on walks and singles. SB gets three more runs in the top of the third. Shane Stewart blasts a two run homer for SB in the top of the fourth. The Dingelingers bat around again in the bottom of the fourth to score six runs on errors and a Matt K double. SB bats around in the top of the fifth to pick up five runs on single,s and a Shane Stewart RBI double. Smokin Bunts out slugs the Dingelingers, 19-15.
